From the start of the video I was thinking what is different about Nadine’s makeup, she is ageing backwards. Then you said you were wearing the new N7 foundation! Nadine your skin is so full of light and hydration, stunning - perfect shade for you, looks so natural with an almost porcelain finish. Your hair also looks brighter and just generally looking so good here! Love the eyes too.
I recently purchased an eyebrow pencil very similar to that on Amazon, but I don't think the color selection was very similar. I have super sparse brows that I was hoping it was going to help me fill in but it's just too much. But then I've only used it once. Maybe I need to try again using more of a individual hair stroke like you did the whole way across. Thanks as always for bringing us new products to look for!
Nadine -- Maybelline tattoo brow is exactly like this product. It works similarly and gives the same imitation of hairs. I don't think this brand is available in the US.
Thanks Nadine - just ordered the JML eyebrow thingy as Boots online don't have the dark blonde in stock. The No.7 CC cream looks good too - will check it out. Many thanks!
I’d really like to see a full review and try-on of the No7 foundation! I can’t find that many videos on TH-cam on this foundation and it looks really interesting!
I have tried so many of these brow products. Tat brows, ink brows, 24 hour brows. All of which had the same hair like brush . And every single one of them worked the first time , then literally dried out and that was it. One and done. I have given up the dream of finding a brow product that doesn't dry up after the first use. Too bad this doesn't deliver outside the UK.
I have been on the verge of splurging for the it cosmetics cc cream for an age! Putting off the investment because it’s kind of intimidating... it’s a lot of money! I’m going to boots, thank you Nadine, always xxj
Hi Nadine, not related to this video, but do you think the constant blending of eye products and shadows on the eyelid contributes to wrinkles on or no?
Maybe you have said in your videos in the past but do you use any HRT for peri/menopause? I think I watched a video one time you did with Trinny and you both started on the subject and said you would discuss in a later video but I don't think that video ever came. Thank you
shannonlynnmomof3 If Nadine doesn't answer you back, I just recently watched an INCREDIBLY informative video by another 50+ youtuber. Channel name (Hot and Flashy) Angie interviewed a retired OB/GYN doctor who has dedicated herself to educate premenopausal women about HRT. Check out her channel, it should be just a few videos back. Hope this helps, I know I'm running to my doctor for HRT now.😊
For a cheaper version Maybeline also has the same brow tattoo pen with a few prongs. I have not enjoyed using it at all as the lines get blurred and fuzzy in my experience, but someone else may like it.
You look absolute stunning Nadine and I am writing down a shopping list for my friend to shop when in London in Nov :) Last time I left with 800 quids in makeup and 30 on clothes ... ha ha xoxox
I got one of the Beauty Pie lip oils based on a rave review by Caroline Barnes. The colour was lovely but the smell was so revolting, I threw it away in the end. It was strong, synthetic and cheap smelling, so sickly sweet, it was awful. So I totally agree re: fragrance!
Hiya- love all your advice and reviews. One thing though - could you reduce your brightness/exposure/whiteness it's very difficult to see the detail, the picture is over exposed.
Sadly the No7 foundation contains alcohol denat (why oh why) and nano (I appreciate the jury is still out on that). I also wish Boots would increase their shade range. (Calico is too dark for the fair skinned.) For goodness sake it's 2019 people.
Ooo going to try no 7 undereye concealer Nadine 👍🏻yeah I’ve got no tails either 😂😂😂 Nadine I’ve started putting streaks in my dyed hair,I realise the hair is dead but have you got sone ideas of products good for streaked hair 😘😘😘
Hi Nadine, really good video thanks. Have tried many many foundations, am 59 on Friday, have reasonably good skin, is the boots foundation dewy or does it eventually dry down and settle into pores as this is a problem am finding now 🌹
Nadine Baggott hi there, just to add, have now tried a sample and purchased the no 7 foundation and it’s beautiful especially for my 59 year old skin, light, dewy and lasting. Thanks ❤️
Nadine you looked totally radiant in this video - I thought you might have had work done or that some procedure in the recent past had come to full effect, I wonder if I could get No7 in Australia?
Hi nadine messaged you before but looking for a good eye cream that has spf in it ? None seem to have spf in them. How does everyone protect the eye area ?
Kay Lives Life it’s tough as you ideally need a physical mineral spf or they can make your eyes sting. Skinceuticals do the best eye SPFs and have a tinted one, but look for a foundation/concealer with mineral spf like IT Cosmetics and apply your eye cream at night x
Karin Cope , I have used their night creams but not the day cream, what is it like if you take it up to the eyes? And how is it with make up , like concealer under the eyes ? Thank you 😊
I use Palmers coca butter untinted lip balm SPF15 round my eyes - under the eyes and above and on the brows but not the eyelids. Works for me and the only SPF I can wear there as I have sensitive eyes. Even mineral SPFs sting my eyes but because it’s a lip balm it seems to sit well with the thin skin under my eyes. As a bonus the butters temporarily blur my lines. I have been using this for over 6 months and no milia. I wish it had a higher SPF but it’s better than no SPF!
Thanks Nadine, I have the foundation & am really enjoying it. My teen daughter’s currently experimenting with liquid eyeliner & doing flicks, she has a small mobile lid & the eyeliner keeps smudging/transferring onto her upper lid. Do you have any tips or eyeliner recommendations? Many thanks. X
See if a waterproof one helps - I believe Physicians Formula do one (now available in Boots UK). Other brands who get good reviews are Kat von D and Stila. Hope that helps.
Loved this and defo going to look at Avon forgot about that little gem ☺️ could you maybe do a high street bb cream best of pleasssssse as I find foundation hard to wear either to heavy or cling to all the wrong places 🤔🤔 much appreciated xx
Foundation looks great on you, as soon as you came on I thought how good you looked. Assumed you'd just had some laser done so very pleased when you said it was a £12 foundation! 😂😊
I would also encourage you to check out MaryKay skin care and cosmetics. Like Avon, they are a direct sales company. I'm fairly certain there are MaryKay consultants in the UK. Go to their website and go to "find a consultant."
@@stacy8546 Thanks for the heads-up, Stacy! I saw that Maybeline makes a similar product. Purchased it at my local CVS earlier today for $7.99. Of course I had to try it as soon as I got home. Love it!!!! Thanks, again!!
Must try this line, over the past year or so have purchased the same idea from facebook, however it runs out after just a couple of uses. I have to say Ive kept the nib and dip it in some eye mascara, it would be great to get this method that lasts longer than a few times. Thanks for the video.
Avon is definitely not mumsie anymore and they have some really nice products, but they also have an extremely disreputable business model. The Avon most of us remember (are perhaps even nostalgic for) was just a standard direct (home) sales model, but now they're an MLM where you can only make a proper income through recruiting other people to become your competition. That fundamentally would make no sense, except that "uplines" receive a portion of their recruits' sales (in some MLMs, such as Younique, those uplines also get a portion of profits whenever their recruit buys in stock--and thus the recruits are pressured to buy in more stock than they can afford). Total legal pyramid scheme vibes, and it's a damn shame. Same goes for Body Shop, who genuinely do great work around the world and offer lovely products. They really need to drop the exploitationary MLM model, too. I already know this comment will attract negativity from reps--many of whom struggle to access other employment and will see this as me attacking their livelihood--but I don't approve that the MLM model is designed to create customers out of employees and then avoid paying those hardworking employees a reliable minimum wage. If you look at Avon's own income statements, the average American Avon rep made less than $25 USD a week in 2015 *before business expenses*. Statistically, the majority of sign-ups are in some form of debt (after outgoings and should-be-paid tax) because of their Avon work, but there's a whole "support system" in place to pressure them to remain. And it's really no wonder that training never includes how to track incomings and outgoings/how to do a profit and loss statement or how to write a proper business plan. The goal isn't to create successful, knowledgeable business women; the company's goal is to create consumers of its consultants. I'm just not okay with any of it. I LOVE Avon ladies. This is not a hate post. I see the amazing role many of them play in their communities, even visiting the elderly and the lonely or giving samples to the poor, but the new Avon model is deeply corrupt. Those good people are not getting their worth. Bring back Avon direct home sales. It'll never happen, though, because MLM makes the company so much more money than direct home sales ever did.
I would really love for more big beauty insiders to speak up against MLM, because nothing will change until there's great awareness and the rumblings of a movement. Caroline Hirons has mentioned that she doesn't support it and that it's a very shady business model. Beauty MLMs overwhelmingly target and exploit women, and many who get involved will never receive any serious education or training in the areas of skincare or make-up or sales or business--any of which might forge a proper pathway to greater things. MLMs *require* most sign-ups to stay on the bottom of the pyramid and buy in stock. They're, again, statistically the company's main customer. I just think the women who work for these companies deserve so much better. Avon has an amazing history as a company, and it's doing itself and its legacy of female empowerment/employment a massive disservice.

There's a tiny sharpener on the end of the M&S eyeshadow stick.
