True either he needs to keep that mask or get a new mostrous form. Otherwise people won't take him serious.
One small detail I've always loved about Meta Knight battles is Meta Knight's code of honour. In most battles, he will provide Kirby with a sword so they're on even ground and not attack until he draws it. Only real exceptions to this rule are when it's Dark Metaknight who has no honour code (because he's evil and only focused on winning) and mass attack Meta Knight when there are several Kirby's which already puts him at a disadvantage.
It sets Meta Knight boss battles away from other battles. You'd never see Bowser chuck Mario a Fire Flower before a battle so they can both use fireballs, or see King Dedede give Kirby a hammer.

It wasn't most battles. It was 2 games which got got remade. In the overall scheme of Kirby games, Meta Knigt doesn't give you a weapon (though his stars give you the sword ability and there is usually a sword pedestal before his boss room).
Though discounting remakes, you only fight Meta Knight unpossessed/not being replaced by Dark Meta Knight like 4 times.

The sword pedistals in front of the boss rooms is supposed to be his way of giving you the sword without forcing you to take it. Two games he physically forces you to take the sword, the others he gives you the option.

Problem there is every boss has a boss pedestal and we definetely know the likes of Whispy, Magolor, and Sectonia don't want a fair fight. It's hard to consider them Meta Knight's in that regard.

you gotta consider it's consistantly a sword, and a lot of the time it's ONLY the sword. Metaknight is basically the antihero we need.

I remember when the fandom used to fight over what colors his eyes were behind the mask, now people in the comments are complaining about Dark Meta Knight being on the list vs Galacta Knight.
It's hard to take him seriously when you think about how he's just a cute blue Kirby under that mask.

+Mr. D The way I see it they can have the Kirby series continue as the fun easy games they've always been then they can have the Meta Knight games as more balls to the walls difficult games for older fans looking for something a little more fulfilling.
Also did in Nightmare in Dreamland, so really, that's more than Dedede.

I love how all this time MetaKnight was training Kirby. Even cooler was how in the latest Dark MetaKnight battle they refenced Kirby's Amazing Mirror, with how he used mirrors and died in a explosion of glass. We need a remake or a sequel to Kirby's Amazing Mirror, my first and one of my favorite Kirby games of all time.

Meta knight is THE most powerful kirby character! For example, His sword the galaxia can create knight familiars, fire tornadoes, can stop time with galaxia darkness, is sharp enough to cut through many metals, speed himself up, and can heal all wounds. Thats just his sword, with his agility, ability to fly, and sword skill to best queen sectonia, He has literally defeated gods like dark matter and galacta knight. And even more, his battleship the halberd is powerful enough to destroy star dream and is packed with weapons and the meta knights.
When is it said he can stop time?
It's hard to tell if you're talking about meta knight or galacta knight.

The invincible knight sure loses a lot, albeit to the same person. I miss the days like Kirby Super Star Ultra when he focused on powerful offensive moves instead of just blocking nearly every projectile you throw at him. Honestly, that's just kind of a dick move.
To be fair, Kirby is a pretty unstoppable guy.

I just noticed, in some of the games before Super Star Ultra, Meta Knight had those wings of his during the fight. But in SSU, we actually see him sorta grow them in the ending sequence of the fight.
