The Bharat Rashtra Samithi is fighting its first General elections after losing power in Telangana. The party has faced multiple challenges-from the arrest of K Kavitha to many leaders defecting to BJP and Congress. Former Minister and BRS working president KT Rama Rao spoke to TNM’s Pooja Prasanna on a host of topics including Electoral Bonds, PM Modi’s speeches and why BRS lost Telangana Assembly elections.

My take on the reasons for TRS loss in elections :
- Dalita Bandhu was launched without understanding the repercussions.
-Two bedroom scheme was also launched without enough homework
- Dharani was a half baked product. The improvements did not happen till end of BRS term. The suffering of landowners was not understood by either BRS or the beurocrats. There was not enough effort to sort out old discrepancies in land records.
- All the good work was forgotten because of some major mistakes.
However, all is not lost. There are many who appreciate the good work done by BRS.
Politicians corruption too
In my district one famous minister murdered a advocate and it's a open secret and closed case
Telangana Urban Educated middle class is solidly behind BRS.
They don't Big Yellow Media, They don't have big TH-camrs, They don't have big IT Cell

You should have asked about electoral bonds received from pharma companies, why no action on sub standard products manufactured by these companies. Other bond monies are of course kick backs. BJP's B-team.. so they lost the election.
The USA has a record number of billaianaire..China has more that two and a half time the number of billaianaires that India has.....Don't we look up to these countries??? BRS is progressive party which does both things Development and Welfare schemes. Development means drinking water for all, irritation, 24×7 electricity, rural development.
Without development you can't give any welfare schemes.

Who said Telangana is the state of highest paid remuneration to govt employees? This man is a big hypocrite in TS politics. Andhra Pradesh paid 89000/- to govt teachers while TS paid 75000/- during TRS regime. How do you claim that you were the highest paid govt to employees in India?
