LFG’d the first week. Got stuck at planets for 4 hours, decided not to continue the next week. Honestly a great thing for my mental health
@@kaievans2607Nah she’s literally easy, lfgs are gonna get stuck on caretaker and planets. The whole no cheese riven crowd really wants to pretend rivens an actual difficult encounter. When in reality she’s just as easy legit as she is to 1 room.

You don’t need platinum time on Nez you get over 500K pts just from all the ads and killing him.
I don't think that's the case. You get a high score just by doing the run from the beginning, with no checkpoint, because it gives you the other scores of every other encounter.

The music in Rhulk when you go for DPS is among the greatest musical boss scores ever written in the game
I think they left the warts doing a ton of damage as a reward for simply doing it legit.

I did the first week, realized I wasn’t having any fun sweating with LFGs and waiting around for people to join, so I just didn’t do the following weeks. As someone who knows how to raid but doesn’t have a team I can go without this. To all who suffered in LFG to do this, I salute you.
I’m the exact same, slowly farming out zaoulis red borders on golg runs, really unfortunate the solo experience is so bad in this game, feels like being punished cause the other people in your group didn’t do their homework
Same. I know all mechanics. Done all raids. Got all the stuff I can get from every raid--most of them LFG.
Its pain cause I still have no motivation to dive into this without an established team.
Pray for my sanity, because LFG be praying on its downfall 😢
I'm a solo player and I did all the weeks with lfg teams. Sure it may have taken some time to get a good team or get an encounter right, but it wasn't too bad. Also I feel like this title is supposed to weed out the players that can't handle higher difficulty thing. I feel like some things are better if not everyone can just get it.
I did week 1 though 3 got a friend doing week 4 for me lol
This final pantheon is just one banger encounter after another. Literally the most fun content we’ve had in a long time imo

This was a BLAST to run. Especially Rhulk and Nez's dps phases being so chaotic. Really hope we get a similar boss in the new raid.

Took 7 hours with a pretty stacked lfg. Probably an unpopular opinion but they need to bring the riven changes to regular raid, it feels so much more rewarding. I bet when not on contest you can brute force a one phase with 6 syntho's behemoths anyway.
Both Riven and Nez changes need to be applied to the regular raid. It makes the encounters so much more satisfying.

What dps options did you use throughout the encounters?
Nah, i'm 100% on board with this. I understand not wanting to put tormentors into everything normally and maybe the Rhulk changes are a bit much for normal mode, but most other changes are great and the encounters would benefit a lot from them, Riven and Nezarec most of all.
I’ve never had so much fucking trouble on survivability than Nezarec. I thought he would be a cakewalk but oh lord was I wrong.
So many people did him day 1 and the week is contest mode so it should feel very similar, I think people are just too used to normal Ron being a cakewalk

@@gamezech2882 Mechanical changes are easy/quick to adapt to, surges + shot caller make it not even the same ballpark, this is WAY easier than Day 1

Cringe if true, I got absolutely hard carried through my first last wish run by a few speedrunners and it made me realise how doable raids are, I wanted to be like them and help others in future…ruining the experience for new players sounds good too though

Just look at how RoN being Carry Newbies: The Raid has absolutely decimated the lfg scene because it taught new players they can just say "I'm on add clear" with a bad loadout and get carried. THAT'S ruining people's raid experiences.

idk if my team was just locked in but riven and nez were both really fun encounters for us to run, and also still challenging. they actually did so well with both encounters and tbh is how they should be in the base raids

Just finished my full plat run. Amazing experience (having a good team helped), riven legit wasn’t bad or as horrible as a I remember, and Nez was a great improvement over original RON.
Hope to see the return of this with more changes and bosses!
The precision with which you play blows my mind. Every one of these encounters took teams I was a part of at best a few attempts and at worst upwards of 18 cumulative hours.

Did week 2,3 and four with the same LFG we are now a clan and going into TFS raid. Finally a fun group I resonate with. Keep looking guardians you’ll find cool people
Just finished this up on discord lfg. Took about 3 hours. Planets and Rhulk definitely remain the hardest encounters here, the new ones really aren't that bad.
This has solidified my love for rhulk and riven, and my hate for nezarec

Do you need to do the quest in order to get another exotic selector? Or can you repeat Panethon per character and still get a exotic selector without quest?
The absolutely wild thing is that planets is the hardest part of this for LFG groups (if the team hasn’t done legit riven or practiced it in the weeks leading up to this)

I hope the Pantheon sticks around as a sort of recurring event, maybe featured for a month once a year. It's the most fun I had in Destiny in a while.

I gotta say Bungie really did something amazing with Pantheon, most fun I've had playing D2 in years. Somehow, after vowing I wouldn't I've just preordered final shape. Dammit I love this game.
This pantheon was the first time i killed riven legit. Real happy with the changes made and wish it was the same in regular last wish.
Cue bungie shadow patching these changes with the final shape update.
Can you not just do the old strategy? Did they fix it?
@@theSixPathsOfTrains Bungie made it so Pantheon Riven can’t be baked like pretty much everyone has been doing it for years, so now everyone has to learn how to do the encounter.

@@theSixPathsOfTrains they gave her resistance on the first and second floor so that you can’t one phase her with anything to my knowledge. I think the best strategy before was 6 behemoth titans and that doesn’t work now so I don’t think there will be anything that one phases her in pantheon
What was your dmg loadouts for 2 phase rhulk?
What loadouts did you all use for nez? Or at least whats the DPS strategy?
Are they using the Ron gl or the trials one?
I hope we get a pantheon variant that is just non-boss encounters. We could have LW Vault, Vow Gauntlet/First encounter, DSC Security, Crota first encounter, Queenswalk, KF Totems, DSC Descent, and probably one of the GoS encounters. I think that would be fun if Pantheon was on a GM nightfall deal, why they come in during the last five weeks of each episode.

Whats the purpose of using both tractor and div on rhulk? Is it just to have a bigger target on rhulk + tractor's debuff?
Div is used more so that the hitbox is more consistent.

kinda unrelated but how many shots does it take to proc shot caller and does it matter if i'm trying to proc it with a hand cannon or an auto rifle for example?
I think it varies by weapon/archetype. Hand cannons are like 2-3 where an auto rifle might be more like 5 bullets.
I think its 3 for anything i use a 900 smg shoot 3 times and swap off
Riven also takes like 99% reduced damage on bottom 2 floors

Had an issue with an lfg group on last week’s pantheon, we only managed to pass Golgoroth before one guy rage quit our second attempt at caretaker, and the others bailed right after.
so me and my buddies were able to one phase Atraks with parasite and 3 thunder crash then lament to the end, how come you guys werent able to? genuine question

Literally all the Riven changes are just "here's some adds to toss you up and damage reduction to force Riven Legit." Somehow Riven legit is on par with second Rhulk and instant kill tornadoes being everywhere on Macrocosm.

You have to kill atraks with at least 77k points and with 5+ minutes of bonus time remaining. Basically you just have to kill it in one phase.
