- As the car ages, plastic parts used internally will inevitably become more brittle and crack. The driver's side window switch surround is a good example of this. This video covers, how to remove, glue, sand and repaint the surround. The job will take some time but if the car is not being used then you can simply remove the window switch assembly and lock it back up.

Not at all bored with the videos. We can pick and choose the relevant ones. Also go back to rewatch them if you need to years later. Thanks Kevin😊
I repainted mine about 5 years ago, the Figaro Shop paint works a treat. Great video Kevin.
Thanks, yes it’s an exact match 👍
Good to know, thanks Brian 👍
You can mix baking soda with superglue to make a strong pond on the back as alternative to plastic weld. If your plastic is broken off using the same mix, you can build it up and replace any broken off plastic then rub it down to shape
Baking soda solidifies but is a compromise, far inferior to the specialist sand sold as a kit with the superglue.
Any advice for re spraying the buttons? My chrome has chipped off
No, it's a very annoying problem!
