Serenity!!! You LOVE it!! Forgive me if this sounds snobby but I can’t understand why someone would pan W7, Elf or any other average drugstore brands when they have Cosmic Brushes in their collection! Make up is only its best for so long. Use Serenity now. Buy another one at the end of the year. It’s still available. You would be the first to pan a Cosmic Brushes palette.
I wanna see you pan serenity as I know how much you love it! I’m so tempted to pan my beauty bay x jade 42 as it’s le so I don’t use it enough these days xx
I've been project panning for a long time and have done 7 years of Pan That Palette. My advice is to choose the palette that you can use at least one shade from every day. Panning eyeshadow can be tough and it's easy to get demotivated when you don't use a palette enough to show usage. I have success with palettes with a variety of transition colours as I can pair those easily with more exciting palettes. Choose something with less product because nothing inspires hitting more pans than success. With my style and usage I'd choose the MUA Matte palette. I would have said Sample but the pans are quite deep and not the easiest to hit pan on. I'd choose that as Project Level Up though.
I would use one of the Beautybay palettes or one of the Blendbunny palettes for a Pan that Palette in order project. They contain a good mix of different tones and textures, so they would offer the necessary variety in combination with a classic Pan that Palette. For the classic Pan that Palette, I would choose the neutral MUA Palette, because it can be combined with any tone from the other palettes.
Please don’t make things hard for yourself!! Do not feel you have to do things ‘in order’ and it would be heart breaking to pan something you love! Sample beauty looks promising as so many colours! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Team Sample Beauty here! I just think it has what you really need in order to do this project successfully - it has neutrals and colors, so I would go for that one!
Sample beauty is my vote.. level up needs to be smaller palettes the larger ones are too much. The beauty Bay are limited edition so i wouldn't use those and cosmic brushes are favorites so they're already easy to use.
Beautiful Palettes :) I‘m not really a fan of panning in order, but if you wanted to take that challenge either way, you could also go from top to bottom in the first column and go on from there… you know what I mean? 😅 If that makes any difference. And I think it‘s sad to say I don‘t want to use sth up because it is too beautiful - that should actually be the one to take… but I get what you mean. The CB ones aren‘t LEs so you could repurchase them, IF you really ever use it fully up, right? Currently also planning my projects for next year and I want to work on some „bigger“ goals which would for me also be sth like pan that palette. But I think my goal isn‘t to really empty pans but just to hit pans. And I have sth in mind but not really decided yet either - thanks for coming to my TED Talk 😂
Definitely not pan in order- thats so restrictive! If u love the individual colours of the Beauty Bay Botanical but not the colour story as a whole, i think that would be a good one for pan that palette! And youre not planning to finosh each shade, just hit pan in each? So itll still be in your collection at the end of the year, you wont have used it up!
Panning a single pan in a palette, one at a time seems like a fools game to me because there are just some pans in every palette than everyone finds hard to use.
I don't like the idea of doing it in order. I'd rather see you pan everything without the order. It will be interesting to see what shades you hit pan on first/which shades you struggle with
I think your over complicating project panning. It's no fun when it feels like a mission, maybe change your approach and thought processes. For example, rather than the aim to use up or hit pan in every shade change the focus to give love and focus to the best eyeshadows in your collection while they are still in their prime. Yes it is sad to use your favourites, but maybe its even more sad to watch your favourite colours and formulas go unused due to being scared of not having them anymore. I hope that makes sense 🫶
DON'T DO ANY OF THE LAST 4!!! Based on your reactions, you will regret it. Honestly, my vote is the No.7 pallete. It seems like a good size for your first go at panning the whole pallete.

I cant unsee the coffee mugs on your ultimate obsessions pallet ☕️
Pan the beauty Bay palette. I have the retro love one. That one would be fun to Pan. The blue shimmers in it are to die for!
Oooh definitely haircare and skincare use up👍
my vote is for the sample beauty palette!

I would do one of your favourites as project level up and the botanicals as your pan that palette as beauty bay is easier to hot pan on

I was thinking of breaking up botanicals up and making singles 😁🤣 the beauty bay palettes are easy enough to do, but arent magnetic so get some first👍
Just my preference: I love watching pan those eyesahdows and project level up. Not fussed with pan that palette, and definitely not in order!
But if you must, I vote the Sample beauty palette, and save Serenity for project level up!

Why don’t you choose the palettes then mix and match between them to pan them? That would still work as you are still using them up? ❤
