Thank you for the helpful video. I was wondering if you’ve had any problems re-using the screw-cap type wine bottles? A friend of mine gives me her empty bottles. I’m just not sure about them. Have you ever had any problems with those?
Just picked up a used one - same exact model, along with 3 glass carboys (2 new and 1 used), a couple cases of new 375 ml bottle, bag of 100 corks, 4 packs of bottle neck wraps, 2 airlocks and rubber grommets all for $100. I got a good deal! It'll be a couple months before I use the corker, but I'm looking forward to it,
Ahhh...have been working through all your vids and in your last bottling vids I linked to a floor model corker even though it was a year old video. Seems you tracked one down since then. Hands down the best way to go.
I have the same corker that you have and don't like. I have never had one problem with it and have corked an untold number of bottles. Anyway, I really like all your videos.
Very nice! As you said, a definite upgrade from that "pain in the arse" corker you used the previous year.... lol. Never had Boysenberry wine (LOVE the syrup though).... how is it?? ;-)
Been brewing our own BEER since '09.... have the stuff to do wine as well, just haven't made/found the time to get into that yet. I even have buckets of honey sittin' around to make mead with.... but haven't gotten around to doing anything with that yet either.... meh.... lol. Am def. more of a BEER connoisseur than the other stuff though. ;-)
What kind of Mead are ya working on?? Love the medium to the sweeter side of the spectrum on Meads.... pretty much like I do with regular wines. One of my favorites is Leaky Roof Meadery's Ginger & Green Tea/Mint combination (think the name is High, Dry, and Dusty).... it's pretty AMAZING! ;-)
I love that shirt!
We have one exactly like that. Love it!
+Hoss Tools It's amazing...works great!
Thanks for the info on corking bottles. I agree that this corker works way better the. What y'all tried last time. Keep up the great work guys!
I bought the Italian, the difference is I have the metal jaws, never had an issue.

It's great that that new cooker worked out. So hows the aging of the lunch meat doing?
Thanks
