Great review!! Very complete!! I think I heard you say that the Roboskull was created in Mato Grosso. Mato Grosso is a state here in Brazil and it's south of Amazonas state. Only part of it it's covered with equatorial rain forest (the northern part), being mostly covered by the cerrado, a form of savannah environment. Both are being destroyed in Mato grosso for cattle and soy farms, but in the early 80's it was pretty much intact. The way you talked in the review unintentionally makes it look like it's a country in South America.
Ok this has got to be the most interesting info / toys etc I have ever seen connected to GI Joe, wow I never knew and in so many ways I find this better than alot of GI Joe lore or stories. WELL DONE! And those toys rock wow!
Awesome video Jesse! Very informative and in-depth. I had no prior knowledge on any of this. Thank you. Would like to see video's on The Fridge and Big Lobb.
You know. Iron Blood was the Original Cobra Commander. All other that follow are "pretenders". My own headcanon. Even though I do like the idea of a Cobra Commander being a former Used Cars Salesman lol.
In late 1981, Action Force began life as a purely Palitoy property, but thanks to their good relations with Hasbro, Action Force began to blend with GI Joe in 1983, bringing in Joe action figures to fill out the ranks. By 1990, the property had become "GI Joe; The Action Force!" 👍
I just noticed when you were going through Ironbloods men if you look at the screen that showed Black Major it said his code name was Black Major Bludd so it looks like Black Major is a variation of Major Bludd from GI Joe
In my head canon the Red Shadows and Cobra are completely separate. In my joeverse Baron Ironblood menaced the world with his Red Shadows in the 1950s and were destroyed in the 1960s. Some of Cobra's weirder weapons are degraded versions of Red Shadows stuff. For example, Compound-Z is a degraded form of the chemical that Baron Ironblood used in his brainwashing of the Red Shadows. B.A.T.s were based off of the Mutons, ect. Also Destro's dad was Red Jackal.
This is fine information. In writing a history of this work, what an ignored period we find here? I had no English friends at that point; one high school ally had relatives in the UK... that was it. There were whispers of Snake Eyes' origins that related to Vietnam that this one boy obtained, perhaps, from a father's fanzine... all predating the story from RAH that detailed it. This fellow even had the helicopter incident semi-accurate. This occurred in those gray days of grammar school when I'd advocate the false idea that Snake Eyes was the Team America Marauder... humorous at best. Bizarre how this stayed safely in the UK then... at least for me.

My favorite toyline of all time.

Your videos are great. Really good production. Please keep up the good work. I appreciate it so much
Great video! I love seeing how Action Force was folded into GI Joe canon.
What comic run is the last storyline you mentioned with black major in the roboskull??
You fools! The Baron is waiting for his time to strike! Blood for the Baron!!!
At 14:53 - Red Shadows, Cobra and ??who?? Revenge? Revange? Who are they?
Revanche Robotics I think. No idea who that is. Only know the word because there was a X-Men character named Revanche. French for revenge.
Blood for the Baron! 😎👍🏻
Awesome!!!

I mean, if you use the IDW continuity then ALL of the backgrounds could theoretically be canon as there's an entire Council of Cobra Commanders.
I like the idea of cobra commander being the genetic template for the kraken fish men
It's the British version of GI Joe. Seems to be just as interesting.

@@peppermintspacecapsule9898 Yes,I have watched all his action force videos.
@@PozerAdultRacingTeam - I've only recently found this channel... but I'm really enjoying it! Great comments section, too! 😊
Red shadows would be brilliant gi joe enemies would love hasbro to do them as action figures
Someone should relate these two histories -- after the kitsch GIJoe movie origin, what would it hurt? - there has to be a market for the figures.

Someone has to say it, “Now you know.”
Please do videos for Mainframe, and Airtight.
In the 1987 gi joe the movie they had cobra commander reimagined as a mutated freak from the city of cobra laaah.
Action Force's Cobra Commander seems more of a legitimate threat than the GI Joe Cobra Commander
So much better than Cobra Commander, the British Action Force had so much more class!

Always been my headcanon as well. It just make sense and its perfect
First appearance: Battle #422 4 June 1983
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🖤💯🤘
Action force needs returns with a better and new brand name/characters too.
Revanche? Where are they from?
Movie!
