If anyone is on the fence about hellofresh, I get it & I can honestly say it's like eating restaurant quality food. There are things I think there's no way this will be good & it's awesome. Their ground pork meatloaf was fantastic. Id hv never thought of trying it otherwise.
Its absolutely crazy you did this episode and it aired today, I literally spent hours over the weekend watching videos on paper mache! Thank you for showing what you came up with, they all look great!!!
I've just started getting into paper mache and paper mache clay and I love it. For anyone who isn't into making their own, I saw that Hobby Lobby has fast drying paper mache, ready made on clearance.
I love this type of thing. In the past, I've been inspired by youtuber "Where the Gnomes Are", search "how to make a hollow long from foil and paper clay". Love the technique that could be applied to whatever a person's personal style is. She's a lovely and inspiring person, just as Jorge is. I also love to get technique ideas from arts and crafts people who make beautiful things from areas with the least access to expensive supplies. I am always humbled and inspired.
This video came in right on time. I have a couple of lamps I want to transform and I'm so happy to have your tips here. Edit: after watching the full video, this is truly inspiring. Great job on everything, as usual. I love it!
I love all three pieces! This recipe looks like a really good one to work with. It seemed to go on smoother than others I've seen. Can't wait to try it! As always, thanks so much for sharing your wonderful and unique ideas.
Yes! Do more papier-mâché clay videos! These projects were fantastic! The footer silver bowl was my favorite, but I also loved the shorter bowl that you added the red rope to. I would be proud to display those in my home. Well done! 🙌🏻
I put my clay in a plastic bowl with lid in the fridge. It lasts several days. If you use more glue than joint compound it is smoother and if you use outdoor wood glue it water proofs your piece.
Thank you Jorge, I think they turned very good, yes I am interested in more videos with this material, since is very snowy and cold where I live, the cements proyects for me are on hold until weather permitted to do it outside .I enjoy that you experimenting as you go, I do that even I watch all kind of videos and follow directions 🙄, Cheers Chico!
Love, love, love how these turned out. They end up looking so expensive! A great way to dupe the beautiful pottery from all the high end stores that can cost hundreds of dollars for one piece. Great work!
I'm excited to try this! I finally got around to upcycling a painted vessel from Goodwill. I LOVE it. You inspired me to add pottery to my home decor but not paying astronomical prices. Thanks for being amazing
Fantastic! Jute rope was a great idea, I wonder if you could have darkened it a bit before applying it. They all look amazing. And yes, I love the paper mache explorations.
All 3 pieces turned out really well. I didn't like the black on the bowl until you finished it and it looked great! I am too much of a perfectionist and would have done more sanding but it wasn't needed, perfection is not always perfect. You have some great ideas! Thank you for sharing!
I Loved it. Great job with up-cycling your thrift finds. 👏 👏👏 You've given me some great ideas to try with some really tacky, glass/porcelain ornaments that I can turn into some really pretty home decor pieces 🤩🤩
I just found your video, Jorge, and this is now my new favorite channel! Great ideas for paper mache clay - I'll be sure to recommend you to my subscribers. 😊
I love them all! I would like to do something similar with the rope one, but paint the outside of the glass white or another solid color first, then built on top of it, and then you could use the bowl for fruit and just wipe the glass clean inside as needed. Great stuff!

Excellent, creating new life to refurbish these old items. I'm amazed how the paper maché adhered to these surfaces without applying primer fist!
