If he is having a good year and they are comfortable with his injury being over later in the year, they need to lock this guy in long term. He is the piece the line can build around for the future.
This is huge for a newly built team... "Early Season Opportunities: The first half of the season includes several winnable games, with the Seahawks playing six of their first nine games at home. This stretch includes matchups against the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, and Miami Dolphins. Capitalizing on these games will be crucial for building momentum."
The Seahawks had to do this. They mostly ignored investing much in the offensive line the past few years and were probably a bit nervous with the start of the season around the corner.
Likewise Rob, if Williams comes off, Cross can step up in yr2 and Lucas can come back to the level in yr1, that’s 3/5 positions sorted for now. Add to that Haynes at GD and then that just leaves 1 spot to worry about, but you know well enough, injuries will occur at some point.
Connor will probably be on the PUP list to start the year so he’ll miss the first 6 games while he recovers. Hopefully Olu and nick harris can hold the fort until Connor gets healthy.
Great signing! Hope he stays healthy, and we give him an extension towards the end of the season!
Thanks!
Thanks Barry!

Enjoy your vacation Rob! Thanks for the content
Great analysis! Spot on! What does Griff think is the real question! LOL :) I know the "other" cast.

Great news. Praying for his and Lucas’ health 🎉🎉
I like the move. Thanks for more insight, solid analysis, Rob ✌️
I like what I am seeing on the offense. Player depth is getting better. Let’s hope scheme and play calling follows
Very exciting let's hope they stay healthy and get some time together to develop as group 👏
I really like this signing good

Where you guys at? Lots going down in Seahawks world as you know Rob! Love to hear from you or the crew!
I’ve just got back from a two week vacation with the family
Rob must have been late to dinner, he was zooming through this! I agree with the sentiment, it is worth the risk.

Never heard you speak so fast. Clearly very excited
Robs on vacation and probably has moments before the family gets back
He's on vacation in Vancouver B.C. with the family. The wife probably only gave him five minutes.
😂😂😂
LFG!!!! 💙💚💙💚💙💚
is this a dominant center in Seattle??? can't wait for the next max unger. It has been a decade since we had someone capable in that spot
It takes at least 6-8 weeks to become coherent with the O-Line. Obviously Olu wasn't good enough. So, half the season's going to be rough on offense.
OMG this was awesome besides Pukk
Where's the hotel room Rob? You in Vancouver already?
I am -- Fairmont Downtown
I've really missed Max Unger since he left. Conner is potentially just as good as Max was in his prime. Great move.
Let's Goooo!!
SEAHAWKS!!!
Love the signing but, I'm most worried about linebackers.
