Senator Warnock's speech during Day 1 of the DNC was one of the best speeches I have ever heard and seen! It was really great, given the fact that besides being a public servant and lawmaker, he also serves as a pastor! Wow!
We need more men of the cloth like this than the weird politicking of a Billy Graham and Pat Robertson. They're not true Christians but voice pieces for right-wing ideology.
Only in the US could two politicians try to score points over who is more pious. When faith is properly recognized as something to be ashamed of, maybe we'll make more progress.
