Fate is already my favorite franchise, but Strange Fake got my 100% attention when I heard the author did Baccano and Durarara. I love both those anime, both also making it into my top 10. The only way for tamamo cat to not be a fox is that tamamo no mae is not being treated as one.
They have the pretty much same body except tamamo cat is heavier due to having more muscles.
Also, her words should pretty much never to be taken literally because of the way she speaks.

I can argue that Carmilla question. Been a while, but the concept of gay/straight is a twentieth century phenomenon. While Carmilla's actions would be classed as bi by current day standards, you cant use that for saying what her sexuality is or how she percieved herself. So Carmilla being straight, or identifying herself as such, is most likely correct as society perceieved her as deviant, but no one in her time period would have labeled her with a sexual orientation. This is also why Greek culture cant be gay as you are labeling their society with a modern stigma when homosexuality wasnt perceived as an identity but just sex, whether for the gods or what not. Although she wouldn't understand the question as straight is also a twentieth century concept. I don't think she would think sexuality as separate from marriage status.
