Nah, it's been an Alter every year, with last year being weird because it was ALTERa. I personally believe it's Atalante Alter, and why wouldn't she be a Santa? She loves kids, and it would be a great way to help cope with her impossible dream.

This was really interesting to see! I've been playing for 189 days and I've yet to get a five star so I truly depend on 4 star and 3 stars.
So far Shiki and Kintoki have been extremely useful whenever I want heavy attack NP (Shiki has truly saved me with story bosses, she's so good!)
So this is extremely good info for me depending on how long it takes me to get a five star and most importantly build a team around that five star!

@@YouGottaShootEmInTheHead His 600 heal is barely worth anything. His def buff is only for himself and is 1 turn at that and the evade is only 1 time. His second ability should be used for the evade and not the heal.
To give some perspective, a 600 heal is basically about a third of later enemies attack.

Thanks, at least somebody can appreciate that. I don't have such a great luck when it comes to Rider/Caster servants (still was't able to summon even one 4*-5*) so she is really good at farming. Also Caster Liz works really well with Jalter because she can generate stars for 4 turns and has low star weight.
Also, Dragon Witch. The Lizzies LOVE that double Attack Up
In fact, all the Lizzies work well with JAlter.
The Lancer one is the one with the most sinergy, since they both give each other double Atk Up.
True, but at the same time you can't ignore the crit stars that Drake generates. Not only does she generate great amounts normally, but her NP gives you a minimum of 20 stars, which I think is a better tradeoff in most cases unless Santa Alter can just barely finish a boss solo where Drake would fail.

I saw this pretty cool thing a few days ago, where some dude calculated the damage output of all sabers, and suprisingly Saber Liz did the most out of everyone, special condition included. She does even more damage if you somehow get the buster buff from her troll third skill.
There is a wiki page with that too.
With all the special condition, Saber Liz is the second damage output out of all sabers, right after (NP5) Musashi.
If you're calculating raw damage only, then she's eigth, right below Munenori Yagyu, Saber Lancelot, Saber Fran, Bedivere, Okita, Nero Bride and Musashi (this ranking is done without any skill).

The real rank though is different.
She's neither second or eigth. Because usually you're not fully loaded of everything, but you're using your basic skills at least.
So, considering 40% Mana Burst of Liz, out of the seven that outdamage her raw:
Munenori has a 50% Arts Up skill, so he still wins. (NP3 and below loses)
Saber Lancelot has no NP boosting skills, so he loses to MB Liz.
Saber Fran has 20% Attack and 20% NP damage up, so she beats Liz by a little bit. (NP3 and below loses)
Bedivere has 16% NP damage, and with it he ties with Liz in NP damage. (NP4 and below loses)
Okita has a 50% Quick Up so she wins in damage. (NP1 loses)
Nero Bride has a 40% Attack so she wins in damage. (NP1 loses)
Musashi has 50% Buster up, so she wins. (NP1 loses)
So, basically:
NP5 Musashi > NP5 Nero Bride > NP5 Saber Fran > NP5 Munenori > NP5 Brave Liz =~ NP5 Bedivere > NP1 Musashi > NP1 Nero Bride > NP1 Okita > NP4 Bedivere > NP3 Saber Fran > NP3 Munenori > NP5 Saber Lancelot

I was stuck with saber lily for an extremely long amount of time she was my only go to counter against lancers and that's because I couldn't get any other saber, hell for a time I count even get any other 3 star sabers till eventually I lucked out and got one copy of void shiki basically making everything so much easier, but you know I think it's cuz of that I don't think Lily that bad hell I think she's fairly good, granted I don't really use her anymore but still I say she's worth it

Watched whole vid and it was a joy. However, had to go back cuz there were one or a few words that i didn't catch but that was cuz of voice and/or recording quality from diff speakers (or taking too fast). It was rly nice to hear different points and angles, I thnk you guys really go well together

And yeah, Kuro is getting all my freaking grails when she lands. She probably would have anyways, but being so darn good is a nice bonus. It is fun how darn effective she is. I can buy the reasoning of her surpassing Emiya as well. Being a lesser grail and effectively fused with the Emiya card...yeah that will lead to a solid end result. Cannot afford to miss her.
As a whole the welfare servants are pretty amazing. Sure they had some ups and downs early on, but as a whole they've just nailed it. Give people good servants and that will keep them invested so they'll pull later and maybe use money. Even Halloween Liz is ok with me because she can passively create a fair amount of crit stars which can be useful. I love Liz as a character, but I don't like her regular Lancer's third ascension outfit. I get how it fits her character, but I just don't like it.
And honestly I'm 100% with you on Santa Alter. Even with fast speed...her attack animation is painfully slow. I'll gladly use Martha and her generic caster attack animation ahead of Santa Alter. She's just painful to watch moving about and attacking.
JP FGO skipped the Zero rerun and just dove into the dreaded Go West rerun, so I’m awfully worried that the devs forgot about Zero lmao,,,

well my first welfare was Shiki, back then i dragged my newbie ass to that grinding tower to get all copies < btw Kara No Kyoukai is masterpiece >. And i love to use her. She's my dragon slayer, star generator, Boss killer. i use assassin Shiki for everything needs Assassin.

well for saber lily, remember that she was originally a preregistration reward for JP. so the mindset was that those that preregistered shouldn't have a huge kick start compared to the rest of the playerbase.
so a new funny thing with Mecha Elizabeth which I guess was added later, she's one of only 3 servants in the entire game that has the [threat against humanity] trait. And the only reason she has this is because of old movie references.

I think they could fix Summer Scáthach by moving the crit buff to the heal and the damage reduction to the taunt.
You would then get 1. A targeted 50% crit buff with a 3000hp heal. 2. A taunt with 1000 damage reduction.
Much better.
Oh good. BB is one of my favorite designs anyway, and its good skills
so far, Ryouma is by far THE BEST welfare.

Oda...if you don’t have atalante or emiya please try and get her. She is worth the grind.
What you forgot to mention is that santa alter has the same increased np damage multiplier of 450-650% as saber alter. In addition to being a free np5, her noble phantasm will do very high damage, even with the slightly downgraded mana burst.
From my gameplay, i have seen that she does do more damage than drake (also idk how you stand drake's obnoxious screaming). She was my main dps rider until kintoki rider recently.
Castor SCATHATH IS HERE to save the day for QUICK teams, with the power of OP QUICK servants, we can do aids for days.
How to salvage Brave Liz (to all you whales out there): Put a MLB K.Scope on her, put her on the front line, hit the gacha button and afterwards combat uniform her to 6th place faster than the rate up eats all your quartz!

Ok, so some notes for Kiara's fight if you do not plan on using KP on it for a real challenge. (It really isn't hard, just needs a lot of preparations)
1. If you have Merlin or Nightingale, USE THEM. If not, Hans is your man! Fou him, max level him! This fight is more about steady healing and defense.
2. Bring Mashu if you do not have enough defense on your servants to withstand hits.
3. Level Medea's 1st skill to 4, put her out front and wait till she transforms to big bad nun, RULE BREAKER to remove the nasty buffs she has. Medea don't need to be levelled, literally can be level 1 and do this job.
Finally; Don't fret if you cannot beat it first try, just keep trying and I'm sure you gots this
This is of course unless you whaled really hard and can kill her very quickly. Even some whales might have issues with this fight, just because it IS pretty damn hard!
You need to know what you're doing or 1 wrong move will cost you 45mins~1hr worth of battle.
My go to team for this;
Mashu (2nd best Kouhai after BB, don't @ me), Merlin (Steady NP Regen + Heal), Nightingale (NP Damage Down, Debuff Removal, Burst Heal)
Alternative team I tried and worked;
Orion(Attack down/Crit Down/Drain NP on NP) Tamamo (NP Fill, Heal, Cooldown Reduction), Merlin(Steady NP Regen/Heal).
I think Orion is really underrated because even though she does extra damage to males, her NP alone does so much else in a stall game like this.
And now they release BB's NP in CCC as a summer servant version of herself

A very interesting perspective on things. That said though, I love Caster Liz. Maybe its because Helena, Book Loli and BewbMonk refused to answer my summons but its nice to have a genuinely solid offensive Caster that isn't stuck at NP1 without rolling on the story banner...or a creepy as f#ck demon clown who triggers multiple phobias of mine.

Great video. Only one issue, unless Rider Ishtar got strengthenings. Her accel turn is not one turn. It's one hit and lasts indefinitely til hit like cu. Invincibility on summer breaker is similar, not sure on duration though

Shiki has saved my life so many times its not even funny. And welfare Altera was such a godsend because I was so salty I never rolled Saber Altera in either server but along came Altera the Sun(ta) on her fluffy sheep of destruction.

One thing I think you guys missed is that event servants are fantastic for newbies. Brave Liz was my MVP vs Lartoria in London and Camelot and helped me a ton in against all the lancers in Babylon. Santa Alter was useful for this most recent Valentine’s caster node because Alexander’s damage benchmarks just weren’t as good as her’s. Santa Lily was my best lancer for a month until I rolled Enkidu...and she’s still my best farming lancer (because...Hektor is the alternative?).
So for new people, welfares are great :)
