Infatti, il miglior Otello è Mario del Monaco proprio perché era davvero un tenore eroico drammatico....Corelli è sublime ma questo personaggio non era roba sua. Troppo educato nei modi, delicato, potente, sublime nell'interpretazione di tanti brani...ma qui ci vuole ben altro....

Una sola cosa, Franco inigualable, péro otello es para cualquier tenor obvio que la pueda abordar, y la voz de franco es demasiado brillante y elegante para este papel, mucho tenor y otello es hasta corriente de ahí qué tamagno fue un extraordinario otello al igual que Mario del Mónaco son de otro nivel. Franco es demasiado fino para otello.
I saw him 4 times. Fantastic. But the quality of his voice is noble and heroic. Not a wife killer no matter what she did. MDM just right.

Very nice, solid rendition, even at 60 Corelli had a voice miles ahead of many.. especially of more recent years..
