I am just like you. Introverted, needing quiet, loving color, paper crafts and quilting. I am so glad that I found your channel. Most channels are busy and noisy. Where are the quiet introverts? There you are! Thank you.

I really appreciate the calmness of your videos. As you talked about your sensitivity I could relate to so much of it. For instance, going to a party, where I have to be really upbeat, leaves me exhausted. I grew up in a very explosive environment as my mom seemed to be always angry. I hated it, and now I make sure my home is peaceful and quiet, at least most of the time.

It's nice that as adults we get to choose what works for us, isn't it? Thanks for sharing!

Hi, Wendy! New subscriber here 👋 I’ve just found your channel when looking for glue books, since I see them on Instagram and I don’t quite think they’re my style, but yours really speak to me. I’ve watched some of your videos on glue books and I can tell you that I found lots of inspiration to start one myself.
I completely understand your need for quietness and silence, because I’m an introvert too and a highly sensitive person. I always felt different, because everyone needed noise and I needed the opposite, but I was never misjudged for that, until 2014 when I started having more contact with my stepmother and her family (my parents divorced in 1990, when I was 20, but I never felt any interest in being with them). Anyway, those people really made me feel awkward, weird and strange. And since 2019 I decided not to be with them again and meet my father alone, since I wanted to go back to my previous self, when I felt at peace, because I preferred to be alone to be with people who don’t appreciate me.
It was so nice to watch your video and see your creative process😊😘
    Hugs from Portugal 🧡💚💙❤️💜♥️💛💗

Thank you for sharing. I choose to live a very, boring and quiet life to offset my participation in the world 🌎. Glueing is incredibly peaceful and calming ☺️ 😊

Mrs. Wendy. Thank you for this video. Our house is also a quiet place and the calmness and Reading Our Bibles and the serene atmosphere of candles helps with the stress level and anxiety. Our Home is the place to be when people need a break from life. We are empty nesters. And when the kids come here it’s a place of calmness… Blessings to you and your family.
    BTW love your Glue Book🌻

Beautiful pages. I too am a highly sensitive person and grew up in a very quiet family. We all loved to read and be creative in some form. My mother loved paper dolls as a child and kept movie star scrapbooks when she got older. She is my inspiration for cutting and scrabooking. I find cutting paper very relaxing and stress-free. Happy gluing and thank you for sharing 😊

Your video mysteriously appeared in my feed. The word, quiet, drew me in right away. I, too, am a person who needs to lead a quiet life, but only after listening to your video, did not realize that I am definitely an HSP. Too much commotion and noise makes me very uneasy, and I have been known to leave a party or dinner because I just can’t do it anymore. my husband is the opposite and would stay until lights out. After 30 years, he is finally learning to understand my needs. Thank you so much for sharing I am a subscriber now and an avid fan. I find that Papercrafting gives me peace and calm. I have always been creative and I now have an outlet for that.

Clearly, we are birds of a feather. Learning about being a HSP allowed me to understand myself and my needs better. I highly recommend Elaine Aron's book, The Highly Sensitive Person, if you haven't already read it. Here is a link to take a look: amzn.to/3XWHVVD

Hello Wendy. I am very very new to journaling. I am 11 days shy of 81 but have been a crafter all my life. I also just found you and am thrilled. I am an introvert. My granddaughter who is also an introvert started me on this journaling journey. I have always made my own greeting cards and dabble in Calligraphy. Was never good with drawing but love the idea of using watercolors, so will be watching your videos, as I do some crafting, instead of listening to my audible books. There is so much to learn. I thought I saw on one of your videos where you show how to make envelopes for any size card, and now I cannot find it. Would you lead me to it. I have subscribed and I promise I will eventually watch all your videos.

Thank-you for subscribing! Off the top of my head, I don't recall the video with the envelopes, however, I have a scoring board with a tool that calculates folds for envelopes and explains how to make them. Here is a link for one: amzn.to/3OTNy30. I hope that helps.

This all sounds very familiar to me. My 16yo was thought to be a HSP first, but after a while they were diagnosed as autistic and ADHD. As we learned more about it, I suspected I could be the same. I was diagnosed as autistic last year, at 46. They didn’t test on adhd, but I definitely have some traits of that too. The therapist told me there is a lot of overlap between autism and HSP and I totally understand what you’re talking about. Anyway, I recently discovered your channel and I enjoy your video’s. I’ve just started my first gluebook. It’s a colour gluebook, I have washi tape on the edges so I already have a beautiful rainbow. Now to fill it with more colour. Your video’s are inspiring and fun to watch, thank you.

Thanks for subbing! This particular book is 8" x 4.25". It called a travel journal size, usually inserted into a separate cover. I have some more ideas coming in my next video on Monday, Dec. 19th, you might enjoy.

It’s me again. I just re-watched this video.
I’m an HSP as well. It’s so good to know we’re not alone.…or “strange”
It can be very frustrating and difficult for my partner to understand. We’re getting there… after 33 years of marriage. ❤

Yes!! I'm reading a good book right now that you might like. It's called Sensitive, by Jenn Granneman and Andre Sol.o. It has really good descriptions about the different kinds of high sensitivity. 😍
