Boring

Looks like you are going to be busy painting 🖌️🎨. That has got to be the tiniest paint palette I've ever seen. Yes, I've seen in lots of journal makers videos I watch using the Edith Holden's books and I love her artwork. I've tried to get to see one of her books in person by checking with my local library to see if they could find one using the Inter Library Loan program but with no luck. I've recently been gifted a beautiful journal from one of the journal makers I love to watch, and in it was (I think) 4 pages from an Edith Holden book. These are the only ones I've ever seen in person. I think I know of the lady that you watch, since I also remember the Posade box, and those sizing tools you had in that set you showed, I think her name is Leslie. I've watched several of her videos too. When she showed her vehicle she'd gotten to go Plien Air painting in, I was in my head saying "I would like to have a setup like that too", my own little private crafting world. Oh well. Thanks for sharing your fun stuff. Sorry I missed your premier part of this video, I was have loved to just chat with you - But..... I had to do chores 😢. Take care and God bless you and yours. I was listening to you talk about your bc election and though oh see Canada and Australia are similar! And then you talked about atmospheric rivers and dyking and I thought hmm I'm learning new words, we aren't that similar 😂 beautiful line and wash.

The reason I made this a quiet video is because I was pretty tired when I filmed it. But working on a painting like this is so relaxing and enjoyable that I actually felt better after I made it.

Your flowers are so lovely, so much better than many of these ‘star watercolor artists with pretty long hair and line less… faces. I cannot believe that they have so many more subscribers I know it is not a competition but you deserve more recognition. Your work is good and you offer so much.😊

Hello Wendy, this is beautiful. And of course you're correct, definitely have to practice to get better at anything. I haven't succeeded yet, but I've been trying to set myself up, a grab & go creative space that's portable enough to load up in my vehicle and go to a quiet park or the like to work on any type creative project. I don't have a lot of quiet time and space to myself. Years back I bought a rolling scrapbook case from Michael's just for the purpose of doing just this. Nope I'm not into scrapbooking, if I get pictures put into photo sleeve albums, I'd be happy 😁. I sure appreciate your help and encouragement. I pray that you are doing well. I’m retired and have just started experimenting with watercolors. I would like more on the quicker ink and watercolour paintings. Something not too overwhelming.

It looked very tranquil. You showed the typical problems of plein air painting which I'm sure we can all relate to. A lovely little panoramic scene.

So, plans went into action and not long after, I went with my mom and sister. What a wonderful experience! Since then, I've gone again a few times and am so grateful to you for giving me the "push." Hi, you just came across my feed, and I'm so glad! I have been itching to try watercolor and ink. ( I have always done pastel and colored pencil work) it's like youtube read my mind. I live in BC, too,in the southern interior. I am so looking forward to learning a new way to create art.

I love the gradations you achieved! So pretty! Also was wondering what piece was the harp playing? It sounded like a piece I sang at a church service but the title escapes me.
