Just full of admiration at how these musicians perfectly complement each other's playing - everything feels so perfectly layered and balanced, and it never gets too dense.
What a beautiful synergy - the three instruments that often end up as accompaniments end up complimenting each other *so well.* Wonderful filmography and mic work - and the joy of playing together really shows, too! I particularly enjoyed A New Chapter, maybe because I got a thing for the sound of the lower ’zouk strings, but all three of them are worth all the sweat and the effort, from beginning to the end. And the transition to Waiting Out the Storm, oooh! Wonderful five-and-a-half minutes.
Your playing has become so beautifully fluid. Is there an album yet? Really great stuff. I feel like i should pay you for bouzouki lessons i have learnt so much. Love your playing. Keep up the stellar work!
This instrument Irish bouzouki is a greek originated instrument as bouzouki is a greek instrument and a greek word! From an Aussie Greek big up respect to Irish culture!
I had the opportunity a bunch of years ago to meet Joe Foley at his home in Dublin, hand-delivering a thank you card from a friend of mine for his instrument. He's a really terrific guy.
Tijn, this is as gorgeous a set as I've ever heard! Wonderful job by everyone! If possible, could you please ask Suzanne what kind of tipper she's using in this video? I'd love to get one for my own bodhrán!
Heya, thanks! She says she used a brush tipper by Stevie Moises in the first tune, and a Hedwitschak one in the second and third. (www.bodhranmaker.de/seite/472507/hedrods.html?fbclid=IwAR2USFME8ugLp_SEos5eM1BiRmb0lADs2526qUoVUtM4lY_DzXb88rHs8wA)
@@TijnB42 Awesome, thanks so much!! I'm gonna order me a couple! :) I've got a Hedwitschak bodhrán and 2 of their tippers already. Beautiful instruments.
Hmm. The first bit, before 2:26, doesn't really fit in at all, in my opinion. It's...black and white, while the rest is blue and orange. The blue and orange is real cool though, am having that run on repeat. :D Any chance you could upload again, just with 0:00 to 2:26 cut away?
I find that the bodhran is almost inaudible in your recordings. Otherwise I am a big fan. Maybe its my speakers but no problem listening to other music.
An album is needed !
Has he not got an album yet?

"It's Only a Model" is a Monty Python reference, no?
The music isn't just awesome; the mixing is perfect. It sound so great through my speakers!
This music is just right, silvery bouzouki, subtle bodhran and piano, a pleasing full sound.
Beautiful tune. Many thanks for sharing your music!
A jam session straight from the fingers of battle angels. Starts off relaxing and finishes with exhilaration and motivation. Wonderful compilation!!!
Thank goodness for TH-cams ability to change the playback speed. At 0.5 x I can just keep up. Great tunes. Thanks.

You guys are great you should have a cd
Hardly anyone wants to buy CDs anymore. The majority of my friends do not even have a CD player anymore, not even integrated into their PCs.
I had the opportunity a bunch of years ago to meet Joe Foley at his home in Dublin, hand-delivering a thank you card from a friend of mine for his instrument. He's a really terrific guy.
