man thanks for this video ! I just subscribe! You just elevated my trolling game!!! I am now just getting in making my own rigs instead of buying lures that are already ready to go! I have been on 6 outings for the new year already and been successful, i just posted my last outing yesterday caught 3 jumbos 1 on power bait and 2 trolling with spinner type lures, now I'm going to try your way with the soft baits!!!!!! Tight lines
Great video cant wait to give a try!!! But what is the bead for? I have always been told its to protect the knot from the weight but not in this application!/!?
In this case it’s function is to keep those bobber stops from pulling into the bait when you fight a fish. Once they get into a bait you can’t get them out without ripping the bait. As I said you want to be getting 8-10 fish per worm…. Even more with other baits. Im running a tube right now that has caught over 20 kings at Folsom….

Excellent video Cal. Thank you
Thank You!
Absolutely, love your soft plastics.. 1:19 1:21
Thank You!
If you had an online store with charts and recipes for different rigs depending on species, conditions, seasons and lakes, you'd sell like hot cakes

Great video, thanks for showing in detail. I'm a visual learner so this helped a lot. Question... what size action disc?
Thats the smallest one
What do think about the action of the wiggle disc compared a slow death hook?
Well the slow death will create rotation...The disc is more frantic...Both are good...
Can you give us a model # on the Mustad hook?
Its a #4 hook... is it offset? What model?
Not offset
You mentioned soft plastics for kings…same setups for Kokanee?
We’ll sort of…. Kings tend to require a smaller selection of gear….

Are these what they call stick baits?
I'm confused.... Not too long ago you said you don't use bobber stops anymore. 🤔
I don’t recall saying that…. I just bought 12,000 of them…..
