The last time a Spielberg movie won Best Picture at the Academy Awards was 30 years ago when Schindler's List won in 1994. IT'S ABOUT TIME to add another movie of one of the best directors of all time to that list of Best Picture winners
22:06 Judd’s think with his Father, reminded me of a story that was told when Walt Disney showed his father the new studio that had been built after Snow White was a success. His father looked around, Walt asked what do you think, and his father asked: “…so what else could you do with this place?” Walt said it could maybe be used as a hospital, but his father couldn’t grasp properly what his son was doing with his life.
just seen in Cape Town without knowing much about the movie. Heartwrenching, I was gutted and sobbed often. All so relatable and true to life and stunning acting with memorable scenes, a powerful, beautiful movie .....
@@seanramsden6440 I hope so but I am being cautious with regards to The Fabelmans, Spielberg has become a flop director lately. Not that his films are bad (I personally loved WSS) but he has lost the touch he once had with the audience. Damien is new blood and has the pulse of what the people want more.
@@gpapa31 That's true though I feel like that's partially the subject he's chosen. This subject is literally made for him, I feel it could be one of his best movies (I hope!)
@@gpapa31 I watched the trailer for Babylon a couple of nights back. I must say I'm extremely disappointed with how it looks. Not quite what I expected. It looks like Hollywood is more of a backdrop to the main story of party-goers. Hopefully it's still a good film

Hmmm... Either I'm much older than I think or you did the math wrong. I'm 30, I was almost 5 in 1994 so, 34 years ago. Not 30.
Emotional and deep .
Yeah ...cried watching the trailer.... Spielberg is a genius
Can't wait to see this. The trailer gave me goosebumps.
Boy--I gotta see this! I love movies about making movies and Spielberg's joy at capturing events visually has always inspired me to no end!

This and Babylon are my two most anticipated films for this year.
Me too, they're going to become classics I'm sure!

Volume needs to be increased on this. Darn, I really wanted to hear it
Seth Rogen looks super skinny- I didn't recognize him for a second.
