- This is the Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion DLC where you play as an Octoling taking up some of the most challenging and heart pumping levels in Splatoon 2! Watch how a Pro Player deals and goes against all 80/80 Challenges in the Octo Expansion DLC.
In this part we get to the top to face-off against ParaDUDE and continue to face the Final Boss!

I love the song that plays during the final boss of the main game. I hope they put the entire 3 minute song in the final Splatfest.
Man, I expected nothing less of you, dude. You breezed through most of the tough challenges like they were nothing (I'm still a little grumpy about how you've beaten Girl Power just like that XD).
Now let's see you beat THAT like it was nothing, too.
Just take them out quickly. If you let them swarm you you're screwed.
I use roller like every beginner out there.
I tried range weapons with no luck (even with my favourite Dualies), so in the end I rolled over 'em all. Pretty satisfying when I waited for them to jump over then I splatted them right away. LOL
I came close using the Splatlings like Srb2DUDE (but with much sh*tier aim...), but got through it later with the Roller as well.
And he failed so hard on the easiest challenges...I must admit. i feel very happy now that I know that even one like Dude is unable to master more than one thing.
Cuttlefish is the only reason anyone could be beat this boss. Everyone would be so depressed they would give and let the world die without cuttlefish.

This dlc alone has sold me on saving up for a Switch. Just the fact that it has a lot of depth in character, but the plot is just rich with creativity. You get to not only customize your Octoling but as well customize Agent 3’s looks and gender and then square off against them as the final boss (technically if you had owned Splatoon 1 you’re practically facing off against yourself from two years ago). I enjoyed watching Dude’s run of the DLC and I don’t mind the difficulty, this game by far is totally worth saving up for

It's interesting how Agent 8's animations were pretty obviously made with a female in mind, especially when he/she messes with their hair. There is no reason the boy would feel the need to tuck stray tentacles behind his ear in these scenes.

Dude, I personally think you should have done this at a different time, when you aren't forced to whisper and be so quiet, so we can hear your genuine reaction to it.
He lives in a much different time zone from his gf, so if he wants Spectre to be able to watch him play, they need to be awake at the same time.

Tbh this final boss has to be the best sploon boss ever
Common question asked is why Agent 3 had S2 specials, rather than S1 specials. Despite what I'm thinking being an assumption, here's a possible lore based reason(s). Remember the sunken scroll that details that there were legal issues with the special and sub weapons in S1, causing a reworking of all sets on main weapons? Well, New Squidbeak Splatoon is the "good guys", so they don't want to break laws, therefore now using the new specials, rather than old. Thus had them equipped during the end sequence for her newer missions. But how did Agent 3 have access to them back then in the (not so) secret final boss fight? Because these new specials existed way earlier than us fans assume, possibly existing the whole time, but only given to exceptional people, like Agents. After all, it's likely that if they did exist the whole time, they were prototypes. Another reason they weren't released yet was because companies didn't need to release them in order to make profit and interest in Cephalo War sports, making them by extension not want to either, as it would've meant work making new weapons for these new specials to be on with little profit. When this ban came along, this made it necessary for the new specials and subs to be released in the form of replacements. This put a wrench in the plans of companies, which is why there are few weapons that are completely new, and when there are, they make up for the lack of new weapons by being somewhat gimmicky. Feel free to ask questions if I've missed a detail that needs to be explained. And as for the limiter being removed thing Marina talks about, just want to mention that Agent 3 didn't wear an ink tank, therefore it couldn't be stored there. The limiter was definitely in the Hero Shot, which remember, is somewhat of a super weapon and what the sub and special are linked to, making this the much more likely choice even if 3 did have an ink tank equipped. Anyway, in S1, we see that this super property gives it access to 3 subs instead of 1 and maximised fire rate when imbued with power eggs, yet it includes no specials. However, this opens up functionality with canned specials, which 3 could have any special instantly with. 3 only has 1 sub in the sequences and no upgraded fire rate, meaning that removing the limiter means no effects can be applied to the main and sub, they'll be standard without the limiter programming them to be overclocked, at the bonus of also removing the value that dictates how much a special costs from getting a can or collecting points to nothing, allowing for spontaneous usage. How does the Hero Shot have the data of specials? It has to so it can be compatible with the cans to use them. 3 doesn't use specials constantly as, I can't base this in any evidence, but it may hurt inklings to have such massive loads asked of them at whim, since the ink they shoot around is them self, as suggested by commenters. I just realised, that opens a question in itself, where is 3's hero ink tank during both sequences? It couldn't possibly be replaced by that raggedy cape, right? First, the Hero Shot clearly has an ink tank of it's own atop the weapon, so I guess this time it's actually being used rather than being cosmetic? But that's a stretch, so I'll instead suggest that she was issued this cape as yet another secret weapon, which stores ink in many tiny spongy pockets, especially around that spongy symbol, rather than 1 bulky ink tank, spreading the weight around in a light way rather than having the same weight in one place, pulling 3 back. This theory helps explain why she can dodge roll as if using drop roller at anytime, decreased weight. Also, not sure anyone noticed, but the Hero Shot has a nozzle that resembles a dodge roll nozzle on Dualies, so there's a more obvious piece of proof. Anything else that needs addressed?

I played whole octo dlc in 9:59:59 (nine minutes, 59 seconds, I had the challenge, to play it under 10 mins, with the inner agent, I DID IT!!! (time between every stage and before and after, and before inner agent 4 battle COUNTS!!!)

I hate this final boss so much. The fight against Agent 3 was awesome, but the actual final boss was terrible. In fact, the final boss stage was the only stage that I skipped in the entire Octo Expansion.

I can see why you'd think that. This is just a personal thing. I could not keep track of where the bombs spawned, I kept getting onto the Ink Rails on accident and the time limit stressed me out. On top of that, I had a massive headache when I faced the boss. It did not leave a good impression on me.
