Think I was around 45 when I had this revelation- now 54 and never been so content despite having gone through a very challenging decade. I regret not knowing this sooner as feel I would have been of better service to my loved ones had I found confidence and self acceptance sooner. However I am very grateful to have found it now as many never do ❤
I am finding so much synchronicity in my life now is like every day something happens or my mind goes somewhere and there is, one of your videos shows up on my feed with the exact information or answer that I need. Is weird but is like if you where speaking directly to me. You are a blessing.
I don't think I will ever live out of a suitcase, my husband and I do plan on greatly downsizing into a motorhome at some point. Thank you for your wisdom.
I'm at peace with my possessions and place in life, but cannot get on top of the growing dread around climate change. The 2017 tubbs fire burned up to the edge of our neighborhood. Family members live in the South where wet bulb temperatures may soon exceed threshold where life without air conditioning is impossible ( and what happens when the power goes out?) Food prices keep rising due to drought and flood. How do I manage the anxiety over things I have little control over besides being a vegan and keeping my carbon footprint as low as possible. I was on track for getting my PhD in environmental geochemistry and it's hard to ignore the facts.
Hi Connie! I am sure you heard about the terribile wildfires that are on the island of Rhodes, Greece right now. Me and my family are there at this very moment. I cannot say how much it helped me to meditate every day. I saw everybody around me in panic, even people that are not on the island. We are not in danger, and I know that everything in life happens for a reason. Your video came out at the right time, it gave me the assurance, that the path I am going right now is the right one. Thank you so much!
Hi Connie, as always, I truly enjoyed hearing your thoughts... 🙏 I absolutely agree with the self discipline being one of the greatest lessons I've learnt from living with less, because focusing on important matters like our wellbeing becomes much easier when we don't have to thin ourselves out. Also, learning that we don't have to prove or live like everyone else does. We can control what we want to bring into our lives, what adds value and let the rest not being a factor of stress. Absolutely on self discipline. I am starting intermittent fasting and I feel so much better when I follow it. I respect myself more. And I find thanking God (my own spirituality) each night and thinking of my happiest moment that day powerful. Mostly my happiest moments are things like when my son climbed on my lap. ❤

I have just seen two of your videos. I am a little confused. It looks like you travel a lot and live in different places. You look in your videos that you look rich but you are talking about minimal living. Nice videos but I don’t understand this living with less but your lifestyle, clothes, travel seem extravagant. Thank you for your videos
Your thoughts particularly appreciated this morning as I contemplate a situation in Sri Lanka that I cannot control and have poured so much energy into. The resolution always seems just one step away.
Quite certain if a younger self was presented with what I know now, I would not have seen it. More supportive is I am doing the best with what I know now.
