But now, Jennie is more on vocal that's why Lisa came in as a Rapper (in most of the recent songs) Lisa is really a good rapper too, she always change the vibe and just starstruck by her rapping and performance.

Lisa speaks korean, japanese, thai (cause she’s thai) and basic chinese fluently and can speak english very very very well. jisoo speaks korean (ofc) and is improving her english

Yep, Selena fit in so perfectly with Black pink. They had the hashtag #Selpink. And I thought they filmed it together, but it was during covid so the girls were in covid. But you can’t even tell. And yes “ the rapper” is Lisa. She’s the only NON Korean member, she’s originally from Thailand, but she can speak 5 languages. She’s center stage a lot because she just has such good stage presence .

Thanks. As I understand it they recorded separately because of COVID travel restrictions (either in US or S. Korea or both). I have to agree with you, Lisa commands your attention and that is why many consider her the Queen of Stage Presence in Kpop. This is a clear strategic win for Blackpink as it became their highest charting song in the US. But, they are a watered down version of who they really are in an attempt to attract the Selena/Taylor Swift/Katie Perry/Ariane Grande female audiences. So, not my favorite BP song, but it succeeded in breaking them into the US charts. Hopefully they will be more fully embraced in the US as their bad-ass selves (e.g., DDDD, HYLT, KTL, Boombayah, etc.). BTS has been very successful once they turned more into the pop world (with all-English MVs) and not stayed strictly Korean language rappers. Similarly, BP's efforts to soften their hard edge should work out well for them. But I still prefer the rapper version of BTS (Mic Drop, On), and similarly I prefer the DDDD (take no prisoners) version of BP over their softer more girlish Ice Cream version.
