The music video was really cute and the theme was really pretty but honestly the song was a let down. Like I don't really care if it is sexual but the lyrics are just cringe and the whole song is the same beat? Like there is no climax. Lisa rapping saves the song tbh but again the rap lyrics aint it. You are expecting kpop style. This is not kpop style. This is a western style summer song and yall want it to be more like kpop? When they do kpop it's oh no its the same again. they are a global group, they can explore other styles. Just because the song isn't your style doesn't make it bad. Everyone has different styles and preferences.
Jisoo and Rosé will be singing Selena's parts when performing without her which will pretty much be most of the time. Also in music production it's not always about giving everyone an equal amount of lines as much a we as fans would like that. They have many more factors to consider, like which combination makes the best sounding song, is it only the group singing? Is there another artist singing as well? Selena obviously was to have lots of lines because whats the point of having her and international super star in the song if she's gonna say one line?

Yea it’s not Kpop style and that’s fine but there’s no chorus, the beat is the same and Lisa’s rap is just a mumble of rhymes that don’t make sense...she was literally Dr. Seussing it. The visuals were awesome and BLACKPINK never disappoints on that front but their comeback has been not that great and we had to wait a year for it. If I don't watch the MV, and only hear the song without knowing that it is BP, and without reading the lyrics, I will accept it as a generic cute girly song that is not necessarily a bop. And I will enjoy the song, but I don't feel the need to put it in my playlist.
