I needed to build a new set of ramps for my equipment trailer. I bent the last set beyond repair. #equipmenttrailer #trailerramps #metalfabrication #heavyequipment
MM77 Approved 👍🏼 👍🏼……………………………………………………..Looks good and DEFINITELY heavy duty!…..As far as thieves, I KNOW you have a skid steer and an excavator. You have a piece of land, because I’ve seen you moving dirt on it. If I had to guess, you probably have a steel pipe that something about 12 gauge in size would fit in…………………………. I would imagine that a thief that would steal from you isn’t very smart and probably wouldn’t be missed! Just me thinking out loud!🙄
John thanks for posting up.. the vids all take time to capture and edit etc, . Maybe your wife doesn't realize that the small thoughts you randomly share could save others a hassle down the road. A good example is the comment about cnc plasma cutter tips not lasting at least the info would point others to investigate consumable costs of running the equipment. I find that anything one can do to keep parts of a trailer from rattling down the road makes for a nice touch and saves your attention for a new noise that could appear while hauling the trailer.. the ratchet straps will stretch a bit and allow some flex/stretch for movement over the rough road area's .
Thank you. It took 4 hours to edit this one. I used 2 camera on some of it and I wound up with over 150 video clips. I don’t think most people realize how much time and thought goes into doing TH-cam videos. My wife is a big TikToc girl so she is used to the short videos. She says people don’t like long videos. I prefer the long video myself.
Glad to see Chevy I’ve drove ford 7.3 ok. Dodge worthless always go back to tried and true bow tie and I’m shocked looks like trailer house axles we could not get tires for homemade trailer we had 30 years ago lol and to bite bullet and put regular axles under it ok back to watching video 😊
@@NotmeGK123 yeah I love my Chevy. I was pulling a 3,000 pound trailer hauling an 18,000 pound backhoe back in the summer. A guy pulled up beside me at a red light in a Dodge pulling a camper. He kept racing his engine and looking over at me laughing. When the light turned I beet him to the next light. He just pulled in behind me and stayed there. I laughed my ass off.
Oh and the trailer, as fare as I can tell is a custom built Bobcat trailer that was built for a specific piece of equipment. It was built with the house trailer axles. I hate them. I’m going to change them out.
@@Janderson-AppalachianCreative yeah we poor farmers trailer house axles where cheap so we put them on like 10 years later can’t get replacement tires anywhere
You don’t talk to much it’s part of you it’s fine people that think that guess what there’s fast forward button lol. And maybe some cheap cable wenches to hold ramps up if you use metal straps to hold them up never put them on ground or will bend them ask me how I know 😂 lol
Yeah I bent the ones on my old small trailer I used to haul my riding lawn mower on. I put them dawn and decided to back the trailer up a little. Bad mistake. lol.
LOOKS GOOD AND SOLID, I LIKE A STEEL STRAP ON RAMPS MYSELF
That’s probably what I’m going to do. I hate the chains.

@@Janderson-AppalachianCreative with equipment it’s when loading it and bars on ground it will bend them
You don't talk too much.
@@brotherbruce thanks. I’m trying my best to do good videos.
