Andrew Easton of Eastonmade Wood Splitters always goes all in on his endeavours and this Logo Sign Build did not disappoint. LOL! In this Part 1, I'll walk through the build and in the coming Part 2, I'll dig down into the challenges and new learnings. Lightburn features like Nodes, Trace function and Boolean Weld, to name a few. And I'll discuss my mistakes along the way, so it will hopefully help you as you continue to learn as a new laser user. Love your channel!
but a tip which you will LOVE! remove the tranparent plastic (should not burn it, highly poison) from the backside of the acrylic, and put 3m double tape on the backside, then you cut it out, the laser will cut thru the 3m tape without a problem and when you cut out small letters you dont need to glue them as they will already have the 3m tape figure cut and tape on them already.
Also, if there is any plastic which you will cut, DO NOT cut if it has PVC in it! PVC when burned makes mustard gas. (Pro tip which will save your life)

Very nice GP! Just curious, how long did this take you to make? And is it profitable? It seems like it takes a long time to make. It looks like fun though!

Hey Trev. Yes - very profitable - it is a premium product (when I don't mess it up, LOL!). But this took longer than it should have, until I went back to learn more Lightburn functions - which I provide in Part 2 of this mini-series. I just released part 2 today. Check out Part 2. And good luck!
