I did not recognize Sienna for weeks. This program is incredible because it’s teaching me, and hopefully others, the origin of this frightful network that has in effect divided the nation. Rupert recognized the danger but let Roger go free.

Jordan Carroll CNN and MSNBC hosts do not spew vicious hatred like Fox opinionators do. Hannity et al. spew vicious rumor and i swear incite war. One night Hannity yelled at the camera “this is WAR” and the next day T dutifully fired all the US attorneys. This program teaches you they’re (Fox) selling “OUTRAGE.” Make the audience feel OUTRAGED no matter if the topic is accurate. Now that’s divisive.
I do try to get both sides of the argument. That takes research.
Fox has divided and polarized America. I so far cannot name one GOOD thing they’ve done for American citizens. If you can think of anything, I’m all ears.
The daytime hosts, a couple of them, ARE trying to be fair and balanced. I applaud them.
@@lizannewhitlow1085 One thing I did learn from the mini series is that rather than the ultra conservative I'd assumed him to be, Murdoch wasn't always in agreement with Ailes, and that Murdoch's son at least tried to keep Ailes' ethically questionable methods in check. Unfortunately, those concerns did not speak as loudly as the amount of money FOX News was generating under Ailes' management.

Seth is an excellent actor! We need to see more of him in other roles. Ailes single-handedly discredited the entire media empire by not investing in "trustworthy" talking heads like a Walter Cronkite, instead hiring eye candy. Now people go to alternative news sites and share articles. Social media killed the MSM star.

I have just watched the series on German pay TV and it was just wow !

Maria Lewis I saw him on tv auctioning off all his old stuff (don't remember exactly what he was auctioning). It was during the divorce and he was already fat. I believe that he put on extra weight for the role. He wasn't Roger Ailes fat, I grant you that, but he was definitely fat and out of shape.
