    My soft fuse just came and I am thrilled. Going to make a stitching pillow soon. Got a box of filling for it, too. Have made four project bags, and moved into 3 of them. I guess that makes me a groupie!! At 70!! Who knew.
    Thx for all your informative videos!! Your light hearted approach to life is appreciated right now.
    Take care and stay well.

    Hi Anna and of course Enzo and G! thank you so much for this video I love learning with you both lol thank you for the feather stitch lesson I can not wait to give it a try! The more I see your Sue Spargo bag the more I get the itch! I take my needle work with me when I have over night shifts. Something this size would be perfect to take with me while my patients are sleeping. As one of your other watchers mentioned below, I too have been giving quite a bit of serious thought into investing in a small travel trailer to get out there and enjoys this beautiful country the fall colors are just beautiful! have a wonderful time antiquing. Thank you again!! your videos are wonderful

    I tried your velvet embossing technique with some wooden stamps. It worked well as does the scrapbooking rubber stamps, with and without stabilizer, dry and steam iron. it was a fun morning. Now to use those pieces.

    thanks for the video, awesome tutorial. Is there any way to make the embossing on the velvet resistant to water so it stays if it gets wet?

    When do you use the feather stitch?

    • @quiltroadies1695
      @quiltroadies1695  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have no set rule about stitches...I use them whenever and where ever I feel like...makes stitching more fun :)

    I realize G was filming but do you stitch your feather stitch away or towards you? I find it easier to stitch away but in a similar manner to you. Also I'm presuming you filled an empty Best Press with water hit starch to emboss your velvet, Maiwa Handprints also sells the Batik Wood Blocks online. Lovely video again Anna,

    Hi love your videos and wondered if you have ever tried a company called Colouricious. It is a UK company that specialises in wooden stamps and their uses in sewing and fabric stamps and embroidery and design. They are very reasonable and are also on You Tube take a peep.
