    This series is great because show that you always try the easy way. Don't complicated a situation that's already dangerous. Great job, man.

    Lots of great info in this series! Sometimes you have a choice-stay put, as in stay in the bldg or work area you’re in, or get out of the area. Sometimes you have no choice-the “event” happens and you just have to make the best decisions to avoid threats/hostiles, or hide. You’ve got to be able to think clearly, maintain the perspective of what’s really going on around you, and just do what ever you can to survive/get to safety.

    I love this series.
    Hope you continue to make these.
    Now important more than ever.
    Most of these skills I already have and practice but, good to cross-reference and double check my knowledge.
    One thing I forgot about and used to have was a sillcock.
    I just ordered another one along with a filter straw for water.

    Great series! It really makes u think about your area and what things u might come across the way. For me in a situation like that I have a lot of preparation before I can even get to our bug out location. Plus getting home is first because of the kids which means I have to go through a bad part of town. Then my wife and then my mother. U can plan but there are so many variables and it really makes u think what u can do to make things better and safer for everybody. Videos like these really help u plan and prepare better. At night when u showed the red light I thought some stuff was about to go down. I figure u would have a run in with the homeless. Getting in the brush good idea! Awesome video take care

    Great video! Like the cardboard idea. Fyi I tested newspaper for cover during a storm when I was in the service it not only kept me dry but warm aslo. Then tested it as insulation crumbled up inside my clothes when I was in 35-40 degree weather overnight working as a guard outside and it worked. Feet hands and head was cold but the rest was good.

    I loved this video series! The only thing I you missed, is the importance of a tactical note book. Failure to keep notes in a rectal situation can (as you know) can be fatal. Perhaps we need a video on an important part of getting home alive and in one piece. We seem to forget how something so small, so trivial, as keeping notes (or the failure to do so) can get you killed. This deserves to be looked into.

    Good videos excellent ideas and concepts. Doing recon on your possible escape routes ahead of time. Something everyone needs to do. Having a physical street map would also be handy. I think I might have chosen the thick brush area first. Not only to hide but also if somebody started to come in they would make significant noise.

    I was in Bombay India in 1982 when there was an insurrection between the police and military. There was no power no public transportation, etc. They has 50 cal. machine guns on top of busses, etc. People had to walk a probably up to 50 km commute. They did it on the train tracks, the most direct route, as you mentioned. You still had to watch your back. Some kind of alternative communication like HAM CB radio would be useful too.

    definately a must for an urban survival situation where a lake or pond is nearby is a good mini fishing kit which you do have but think about doubling or tripling on it. You can live a long time on fish but think about long term heavy usage of hooks and lines you will lose some so make sure to have extra extra. Lewis and clark early american explorers traveled the whole country and what they had they carried in a small raft/boat. lived on fish

    Really enjoy these. While I watch I am visualizing and thinking about where and what I would do in a situation like this.
    I would probably add pepper spray and maybe a small handgun in the bag. Even a small .22. If you lose your carry piece you have a backup. You never know.

    Since you have the solar panel, you could be carrying a rechargeable electric lighter. It's much easier to make a fire with one of those than a ferro rod, and who knows how many fires you can make with it before it breaks or something.

    • @drusmusic8543
      @drusmusic8543 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Halosis I’m sorry, break a ferro rod?

    • @Daremachina
      @Daremachina 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Drusmusic Breaking the lighter. With solar and a rechargeable lighter you would have a way to create fire until the battery, the lighter, or the panel finally fails. At that point you would still have a Ferro Rod to use.

    Couldn't you use the solar panel battery to power a stinger for heating water or your soup? This would reduce fire (smell and sight) or if fire is needed the stinger could be used to start the fire.

    Great mini series. I really enjoy the knowledge you share on your channel. Maybe I missed something, but I didnt see what the Bug Out Location was. Where in relevance to location one should be & what should be prepared there. Is the location a safe house or a temporary location? I know the video ended, but what is the plan after reaching Bug Out Location? Stay there or is there another location you are trying to reach? Most people wont have a plan so I am curious what your plan is for a long term situation like this?
