Why Use Solar Powered Generators?

Researchers at the Center for Environmental Studies (CES) at Florida Atlantic University are compiling a solar supply kit that aims to provide security to vulnerable communities during events where usual electricity sources may be lost. Solar generators are a clean, safe alternative to fuel-powered generators.
CES researchers are working to raise awareness of alternative portable energy sources, continuing to test the various capabilities, uses, and limitations of the current solar kit and will make changes or additions when applicable.
