I really appreciate your real-life test, as well as verifying the power consumption. Your 24-hr test resulted in relatively little liquid water condensate, but you correctly mentioned your relative humidity during the rest was in the 30's to 40's. Quantity of condensate is a function of moisture in air. Your results will surely be more evident during more humid months (as you mentioned in vid). Just my guess: Cooling (coils in unit) is accomplished with peltier modules. Again, thanks for the review; makes me more comfortable in purchasing a unit for myself.
I bought one from Amazon and in less than a week a bought another one.Very good suckers! The lights changing are cool n it flashes red when it’s full.It looks more like a nice gadget.
I just bought this unit. Great review. I wondered how long it would take to extract water. I have a mold problem & hope that between this & mold killer, I’ll solve it. Thanks!
Do you need to clean the filter periodically? And, how to? I bought a mini dehumidifier like this one and it stopped collecting any water after 3 months I wonder if it's because the filter is clogged and needs to be cleaned... Not sure how to open the dehumidifier and get the filter cleaned
Hi I bought one but now when I press the start button it turn green with one bip and nothing happen after ... Any idea to solve this problem ? The tank is empty
Beware, they arent good for lowering ambient humidity. I have a slightly bigger unit that cost $90 for a 70 sqft room. It was advertised as being able to dehumidify a 150 square foot room. Its a very small room and it only lowered the humidity by half a percent. After lots of research i came to the conclusion that small dehumidifiers from the 40 to 100 dollar range are only good for small closets or walk in closets but other than that theyre useless and use a considerable amount of energy over time. If youre lookung to dehumidify a small bedroom or large areas an air conditioner will do wonders but also large dehumidifiers do pull out alot of moisture. Theyre much better for bigger rooms.
I think he made a mistake.. he did say that in the beginning, but when he looked at his meter later he said it was 37w or something like that.. so right as expected.. I was stunned too when he said that... no way in hell that thing would draw 700w .. not even a much larger one would do that..

The built in RGB light is super nice on this, considering buying for my bathroom counter area

Not even a review. You've had it for one day. It's an unboxing and/or first impressions
That amount of water you had in 24 hours was as even less what i had in about 5 hours but our house collects a whole lot of water.
i bought one and the led light dosen't work
i don't know if i should return it or not

I bought this product, how long should I be running it per day
can down the humidity under to 50% ?
So you’re not suppose to add water in it?
Great 👍🏻، i think it's the best idea for places with high humidity
Im gonma buy 3 for my room.
Lol, yeah, I feel like I'll need at least 3 for my room as well.
does it work with a drain hose? If you remove the container does it stop?
Can I use it non-stop every day?
You should shut it off for at least 10 minutes every 24 hours.
Can you drink dehumidifier water
Can you leave the lights off ?
Yes
Wow I remember you from Sound Cloud lol what are the odds of that
brand?
Nice review. Do you think this would work in a 10x20 shed that I have a portable Infrared heater in and 2 large plant shelves by 2 36x36 windows?
I'd say this is meant for very small spaces that aren't very damp.
Shouldn't be the inlet facing forward instead of facing the wall? How is it supposed to intake air if it's against the wall?
Does it shut off by it self?
Yes it does
Was this energy efficient?
M Smith very much, only uses .94 kilowatts for 24 hrs. Barely anything! I have one myself, I love it.
