So perhaps in this timeline, he could get together with Sonya instead. And they will have a daughter with traits that combine some aspects of Jacqui and Cassie.
Yo this new Jax look is kinda clean ngl. I'm really liking this whole "special agent" angle they're taking too. If they add him as DLC later down the line, it'd be cool to see him have a whole bunch of secret agent gadgets like something out of MIB or 007 movie. Although that might make him more of zoner or trap-based character, and I personally prefer it when Jax is up close and personal with his gameplay.

Here's my theory based on nothing but the endings of Kenshi and Nitara's tower endings. In the new timeline, Kenshi's ending reveals Jax is a Special Agent instead of a soldier. After an encounter with Shang Tsung, Jax creates the OIA, where both Earthrealmers and Outworlders work together to stops threats on both sides. We also know that Nitara has been making routine stops to Earthrealm to kidnap people for her home, something which would probably end up on the radar of the OIA. My guess is that these two stories will be the way they reintroduce Sonya to the series. Jax isn't a soldier so I imagine Sonya wouldn't be either. She's more likely a cop in this timeline, which I think would also be perfect to reintroduce Stryker as well. I think that during a usual patrol, Sonya and Stryker would accidentally catch Nitara either about to kill or kidnap someone (I think it would be cool if it was Kano, as then you could have this whole thing about them accidentally letting someone very dangerous live by stopping Nitara.) I imagine the OIA would show up to capture Nitara, and that's how Sonya and Stryker meet Jax and Kenshi, learn about the realms and get their more recognisable gear. This way also gives Sonya a way to meet Johnny, as Kenshi and Johnny are good friends in this timeline.

Kollector is kinda likely (either that or it's a member of his race), but Sheeva was kinda always a good guy since a good number of her actions was for the well-being of her people, and she harbors very little malice or ill will towards others.

Guys, I think I've got an idea about the fate of Jax's arms, I don't think he will lose them, here's what I have in mind: After found out the truth behind the Johnny Cage movies on Outworld, after having created the OIA (Outworld Investigation Agency) and being part of it there are two theories on how he will get his new cybernetic arms, in the form of bracelets in my opinion: Jax could ask agency scientists to build them with nanotechnology in a full year's time. Or he could obtain bracers (which can transform into entire arms) that belonged to an Outworlder Warrior of the past, perhaps he could obtain them in an ancient temple or obtain them from Empress Mileena after winning an important battle against the enemy. What do you think? What theory do you like the most?
Idk fam, Jax's metal arms were as iconic as Kenshi's telekinesis or Shang Tsung's shapeshifting ability so i doubt they changed that, tho i think how he gets it may be different like his arms get injured so hard that it's better for him to get a prosthetic arms instead.
