Been running stock injectors in my 2.7 sport on e30 with Lincoln 3.0 turbos at 22 psi on stock fuel pumps just fine and high 11’s in the 1/4. No idea why people are throwing money away on DW injectors. The XDI are great but simply not needed
Same here, was running DW's with the 2.7, but on the 3.0 with MKZ CRP Stg3, Torrie requested to go with the Xtreme's so we can safely run E30/E40 with 22.44PSI. This summer I was only running 17.5 on 94 Octane (OEM Injectors) and was already the injectors limits. At this point of the game, an extra 1K is not a big deal, but I agree, bang for the buck, the DW's are the way to go.
mark, thats impressive. Youve got to be the only one in the high 11s that has stock mkz turbos and no fuel mods. We must be doing something wrong. Maybe you can clue us in to what it takes to run that time with minimal mods.
Not sure what times you are running but if you send me a data log I’ll tell you why you won’t run 11’s. You need e30 fuel. It looks like you are running pump gas
Cool, hope the best, will just make our very small Fusion community better, still dreaming the day that plus 100 FFS would regularly run 11s on the quarter.
The only one I could see do this is The Fastest Fusion, but we both agree, the AWD setup and the transmission will be almost impossible to do that. Someone will have to trap a plus 125MPH!!!@@Tooghostly
The fusion 2.0 xtreme Di injector have 2000cc at 100bar and 3000cc at 220bar, they flow more than the 2.7 injector it certainly because the piston are smaller in the 2.7
I was also expecting 2000cc injector for the 3.0, 2000cc seems like the perfect happy spot for full e85. I think mine are also 1800cc

It’s nothing special just full bolt ons.
Mkz stock turbos
CPE intercooler
Catless downpipes
Stock air box with k&n filter
Stock exhaust
E30
Stock fuel pumps
Stock injectors
21 psi boost
Stock tires
No secret
That's nuts, i'm basically the same:
Stock mkzs
UP intercooler
UP Catted DP
Steesa CAI
Stock Exhaust
Unleashed E30
Stock fuel
Stock wheels
Cheap tires

Installed my set last week, hoping to make some moves with it soon.

I’m hoping we can break 10s if not 11.0 with the SHO guys.

@@twinforce_fusion6560 I have more power than the fastest fusion currently, so we will see.

Once you understand injection timing you will understand that stock injectors are just fine on e30 and upgraded turbos at high boost
What is the Octane of E30 / E35 ??
About 99
