It's possible there was contact between the 9 jewel planets at one point and the onyx cinder was captured in space going between. Then it took awhile (as well as a visit to at-acheron) to find out where it came from.
33 actually said Tac Rennod stole one of their ships. Remember this was 100's if years ago. Those ships were probably coming and going all the time back them and the pirate hijacked one. On the reason it crashed. Remember 33 said that Rennod felt his crew was close to mutiny so he locked them a certain part of the ship and crashed it on purpose.
The vault door is straight out of “Goldfinger”. It is not clear how Jod was still on the ship, or able to get back on. SM33 had knocked him out and supposedly removed him from the ship. Jod is always doing things off-screen that are crucial to how events unfold.
I LOVE that Jod does not get a redemption arc, its cool to have the villain just be the villain in this case. man this episode so good and the show just rocks. cool reaction guys
I think final episode will start with Jod introducing himself as Jedi and emissary of the Republic to the parents, and that he found their kids on his way here. "Right Kids?" "Right, sir". Other than Neel thinking to use the anti-aircraft gun, I can't figure out how this will go. Supervisor's voice actor is listed in the credits of this episode.
At the this moment, the irony is that if Jon would have just help the kids like he promised the droids would have given him a shipment of credits without batting an eye, and he probably could have continued to return to the planet when he ran out.
Sounds like the voice that was trying to contact Padme and Obi-Wan said no it's a trick whatever in The Phantom Menace and the next episode needs at least 40 minutes or longer
I'm terribly confused. Jod had so many possibilities to leave the kids behind, instead he showed at least some kindness. And now he is threatening them in a quite brutal way? How will the showrunners solve this situation? The robots/supervisor seem to trust him to be an official.
Why would he leave the kids when he didn't know where the treasure planet was? He had to pretend to be nice to them and wait until he got the coordinates to At Attin. He turned on them as soon as he got the coordinates. Jod was a scumbag all along. Have you forgotten that he was a pirate captain in the first episode who told his men to throw someone out of the airlock? There is nothing to solve. He is and has always been a pirate from the beginning of the show.
The gasp that left my mouth when the credits rolled. I mean, the audacity, leaving it like that!! But also, such a great show!
What an episode. I was at the edge of my seat the entire time. Can't wait for the final episode!
Same I can't wait for the last one! I hope we see these characters again somewhere sometime!
Great share you guys! I agree that the next episode is longer!!! Just luving the Star Wars!

Makes me wonder if that ship in the opening scene of the show was on its way to do a pickup from a NEW Republic mint.

I'm not so sure about that. I guess the robots could have kept him there as a prisoner.
Remeber, the Code is more like guidelines
its crazy this was made 3 years ago. the next one the kids will be in college.
1139 vaults is a reference to Lucas' THX1138. Number 1138 is used a lot in Lucas Films.

It's an emissary ship
