Beckett still has his pipes and playing skills. I don't know why he thinks he is not a good guitarist as I heard him say once in an interview. He may not be a Jimmy Page, but then again who is. Too bad the other members of Player are not touring with him, as their harmonies were great together.
The original Player lineup actually was accused by music critics of COPYING Hall & Oates when this song came out late November 1977 but this was Players first record and was no #1 on Billboard for the first 3 weeks of January in 1978 also If anyone heard the rest of Players 1st album , it didn't disappoint. Hall & Oates couldn't compete there either.
