Wow! That sums up the cars. The great part of this story is two guys who works so well together and create it out of parts and bits of cars some very special cars. It was hard back then to get two people to agree on anything but more so today. But when it comes to a creation your baby being 55 Chevy or whatever it might be. Thank you so much for the tour of Denny's vast and eclectic collection. I heard about him parking his Chevelle upside down in the creek when we worked together at UTA in the early 90's, the man has nine lives. I have lost contact with him over the years and the last time I saw him was probably 2005 or 6. If you see him and could remember please tell him that I lost my wife Laurie on Feb. 5th to ovarian cancer. Some of our fondest memories are from the time that we lived in Dayton. We all partied a time or two in the house that Don Yahn built for us in Pine Hollow on Richland Creek, great times with great people.
He is definitely one of my favorite people.Super good dude....and half the cars in that video I remember at your dad's when I was little. We would be on a call and drive by and see them almost every day.lol
Love the old footage man being a Cary guy pre internet was so different! Here Tuesday morn when the buy sell trade came out was epic esp the days you’d find something wicked hop out over to the pay phone with a lil notepad and pen to right down directions etc that and word of mouth was our internet
i think it's cool to have couple of cars that could be daily's and couple projects on going. Maybe couple of I'll get to it eventually, but that's it. I started down this road when I started to notice after around 11 cars and only 2 were runners and only 1 that could be reliable enough for long trip. Sooner or later what, when, how do you clean it all up. Leaving it for someone else to do?
Wow, would have being great if I where living Close to your Dad when I was young and racing Cars, great Video and God Bless your Father and his family.
How could you NOT be a car nut with that upbringing? Awesome! Great video - Denny had some amazing escapes and that was a killer jam 3rd from last! Plus liked the last jam too.
I relate to this video. I love them taking the frame around the block. This man is the last of a dying breed and I love them for it. Great video! Glad you have this
Beyond cool! I'd like to see that chromed out tricked out Corvette get cleaned up. I like his formula, big block, tubbed and in the weeds. His entire property looks like a awesome place to hang out, build cool stuff and drink beer
Just a week or so after I shot this video, Denny's son got the Corvette out and got it running again. They scrubbed and cleaned on it and drove it around some. Wish I had been able to show the crazy transformation...it really looked great!

I just wish we had more videos of their shenanigans. They were a little crazy, but it was a blast to grow up watching them have fun with cars.
I bet that was an awesome day y’all getting to hang out and remembering those days gone by
Oh man, one of my favorite days ever.
