The strategy is to just not want the raid exotic anymore and stop caring and the game will give it to you, so far it has worked for 3 raid exotics for me
Sweat, a nice tip for the portal part at the beginning is to play Xenophage when you are in the middle. Then you look to the left or right door and then shoot the doors open in the other direction with one shot each, then you look in the middle and defeat the Taken that spawns. If you're fast enough, the Taken will only spawn after you've shot open all 3 doors, and if you defeat the Taken fast enough, no other enemies will spawn in the middle. So always after the balls were picked up, I had peace after 5 seconds and did something on my phone because there was always nothing left to do in the middle. Xeno in Kingsfall at the portal part in the middle is simply the best. And I can give you a ToM, I got one too much anyway.
I got it at 4 but one of my friends in the raid group has gotten it 5 times and i have no fucking idea how they have rng this good lmao. Pog on ur first clear malice though :D
Same happened with me and vex, got it on my 5th run just for pinnacle since I figured it was gonna be a while before I got it. then switched to my titan right after I got it the first time, ran it again and got another one
I still don't have it at 21 clears bro, vex took me about 50, eyes was like 60, collective obligation took me 40, the only one I got sort of quickly was 1k on my 5th run and that was well before it became meta in s15 so yeah my rng is absolute dog water lmao I don't want even want to try to go for the exotic glaive patterns
Most people who only basic eager skate (ME INCLUDED) wont be effected by the EE change. Still sucks that now eager edge cant be activated while falling or to combat EE trolls. If someone wants you dead and they use EE to do it, RIP.

Red borders used to drop on most weapons whether or not they were craftable, the red border for non craftable weapons used to give out materials for crafting if I remember correctly
you have to work on ur bungie karma bro ... u have to do challenges to get multiple chest drops + sherpa new people to increase ur drop rate (source: just trust me bro) (however i did get touch of malice + collective obligation + heartshadow in the same week using this method)
