Thanks for this video. Very helpful. On the Mac this is especially helpful since there is no dedicated software. The only downside is the keyboard doesn't "remember" the style you select if you e.g. unplug the keyboard and plug it back in (on the Mac without software).
@@leizerg Just the default, actually, haha! I tend to prefer a solid color for gaming, but the gradual fading of all the colors, - on medium/low brightness is really soothing on my Mc. :)

I'm thinking about getting one of these, I just don't want it to be dim and hardly having any effect and as far as I've noticed, no one seems to be complaining about it if it is a problem that exists (also affects my switch choice).
Id say the RGB is plenty bright. In a mostly dark room I need to lower it down otherwise it kind of gets distracting. The plate is the stock plate, I believe it’s aluminium.
You need to update the firmware. I had the same color choice before firmware update. After you get more options. You can update it with Glorios’ software.
Thank you very much, I didn't want to install software to manage the keyboard, but when you turn off and turn on your computer, the rgb you configured is saved? (there is a memory in the keyboard?) Or do you need to do it again everyday when you turn on your computer ? Thanks !
dont you think that non backlit keycaps are messing with the look of it? I am thinking of buying aaa keycap set with backlit but not puddings hich i hate.
No idea. I’d try factory reset first: Press Fn+Esc, then while still holding Fn+Esc, also press and hold F1, F3, and F5 sequentially. This means pressing and holding down all 5 keys at once.
Glorious Black Ash. Though I’d avoid them if you play mostly in the dark as they don’t let rgb shine through plus the font is dark so it’s hard to read it when it’s dark around.
i tried the software, it works sometimes, like sometimes i can get a solid color, other times ill get some of that color, and it'll breath and have some kind of animation. whatever is set will vanish as soon as i unplug my keyboard or power down the PC. not using the software and using these hotkeys i can cycle the animations but none are a solid color (which is funny considering there is so many i don't want), and every animation breaths. i tried the factory reset with the same results. really crappy when all i want is basic white or blue. i feel like i signed up for a cable package and didn't even get the channel i wanted
Sorry to hear that. I experienced similar behaviour when I was using the sw. It sometimes did reset the settings. That’s why I uninstalled it and just used the built in settings.

@@leizerg brand new. I contacted glorious customer support and they suggested to replace the key switch for the fn key and sure enough it worked. I didn’t realize that wire was bent. It’s my first mechanical keyboard.

I just checked and it keeps the settings saved, even if you unplug the keyboard.

mine only toggles between blue red and green how do i fix that?
I believe additional colours can be added through firmware update. When I first plugged it in I also only had red green and blue.

@@Leon_Godman I don’t think so. Maybe it looks blue because the leds have colder tone. I think you need the sw to set the colour properly.

mine is different. Fn + l/r arrow change effect. Brightness is fn + u/d. But same with fn + x. The speed I don't know where....

When I click the fn key and down it just moves the page down the same when I click up it moves the page up. Am I suppose to do something more?
