@Jocelyn Gardner I would like to encourage you. I know how you can overcome all of these negative characteristics and it’s not difficult. Please bare with me. I can be long winded but I will try to be as brief as possible. Jesus said whoever sins is a slave to sin but whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Jesus was saying that because every person that has ever lived and that will live in the future has sinned, and because we have sinned we are separated from God, the giver of life. We have to be freed from what the Bible calls our sinful nature. The sinful nature are the characteristics described in this video. Jesus said whoever he sets free from sin is truly free. I will tell you how you can be free from your sinful nature as well as free from the condemnation you may feel because of your mistakes and failures and sins. Jesus said whoever believes in him passes from death to life but whoever does not believe in him stands condemned already and Gods wrath abides on them. The key to being free from all of these horrible characteristics described in the video is you have to be set free from the power of the sin in your life that has made you a slave to repeat that sin and mistakes over and over again. The ability to overcome sin comes from God himself. It comes from his Holy Spirit. Jesus said that in order for a person to enter the kingdom of heaven or even see heaven you have to be born again with Gods spirit. Without being born again by Gods spirit you cannot see heaven or ever enter it. You stand condemned in your sinful nature and you need Jesus Christ to free you from that sinful nature which is powerless to sins temptations. Sure without the Holy Spirit you can do good for a day or two but what always happens? You return to your sins again to repeat them over and over again. The problem is not the temptations. The problem is you do not have the will in your sinful nature to continually fight off these temptations. You actually enjoy certain sins that keep you in bondage like a slave. You need to be freed from them by Jesus Christ. You become free from every sin you have ever committed in your life when you truly have faith in Jesus Christ. See many people claim to believe in Jesus Christ the person but what they have never truly done is truly believed in their heart all their sins have been forgiven by God because of what Jesus Christ did on the cross. Jesus said when you believe in him you pass from death to life and every sin you have ever committed and will ever commit in the future is forgiven. God takes your sins and separates them from you as far as the East is from the West and God remembers them no more. God wipes your slate clean and you are no longer under Gods wrath. You become a new creation in Christ Jesus and Jesus gives you his Holy Spirit which gives you the spiritual power you need to resist those temptations that you use to struggle with so much. Also when you become born again spiritually God changes your heart and gives you a new Godly nature that desires to serve him and obey him. The proof of being born again is the infilling of the Holy Spirit in you. It’s called the baptism of the Holy Spirit. John the Baptist said “I baptize you with water but one is coming after me who’s sandal straps I am unworthy to untie and he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” John the Baptist was talking about Jesus Christ and he was saying that Jesus Christ will give you power to overcome sin when you receive the Holy Spirit from Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ gives you the Holy Spirit when you repent of your sins and believe in Jesus Christ in your heart. The moment you have truly believed in Jesus Christ as your savior and believed in your heart that Jesus died on the cross to take your sins that you have personally committed and you believe that God raised Jesus back to life and that he now sits at the right hand of God as Lord of the heavens and the earth your sins can be forgiven and are forgiven immediately never to be remembered any longer. You will be born again and as long as your faith was genuine and you have repented in your heart of your sins you are born again. If your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior is real you will follow Jesus Christ and obey his commandments. Jesus said if you love me you will obey my commandments. Just remember though. You don’t get born again by doing good works. You can only truly come to God and be saved by believing in Jesus Christ and repenting of your sins. That means giving up your sins. It doesn’t mean you’re perfect. Nobody is perfect. It just means you trust in Jesus Christ for salvation and you commit with all your heart to follow him and obey his commandments and love him. Jesus Christ is the Lord of the universe. That’s how you overcome sin. Jesus said the flesh is weak but when you let Jesus Christ live in your heart, and reign in your heart, and lead you, all things are possible with God. Jesus said all evil thoughts and actions originate in our hearts. This is why you need to be born again by believing in Jesus. Jesus changes your heart and forgives you of your sins when you believe in him as Lord and savior. Jesus promises to give you eternal life when you believe in him. That’s all you have to do. Do you believe truly. Ask yourself if you have truly believed all your sins are forgiven because of Jesus Christ.

Mirror mirror on the wall.... Often these wonderful video's don't just help us navigate relationships with others, but allow us to see what to be mindful with ourselves. There are times I cringe and say ouch... Yep I'm guilty of doing that sometimes.. But it's never a bad thing, I welcome the opportunity to grow in Christ and become the best version of myself I can be. Thank you once again, spot on. 🙏

I think God has brought me to this video, I have gotten out of a 6 year relationship which I was engaged, I am ashamed to have to admit this truth, but I am guilty of 19 red flags of this video and I am submitting myself to Jesus and I don't want to be the man I used to be, and sadly I'm learning this now to become a better man and to learn my lessons even though it was tough to watch this and I have lost my fiance, but I seriously believe I was to watch this, and I gave my whole heart to Jesus and I trust him as my lord and savior. I am ashamed of who I was because I lost the most amazing woman that God had blessed me with and I live in regret today and alone and now I lost her for good because what I've done and I was not living with God at the time , I pray earnestly to be better than I used to be, God bless you and may God bless your family and for helping spreading the word of God to help people like me to learn and to walk with God and be protected by our lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Hey, I have watched 2 of your videos, How to differentiate God's Voice and yours and the other one is How to know God is calling you.
Now i know i'm a bit off topic, but i just want to say, God speaks and called me through his work, God gives us what we need not what we want. I trust in God when it comes to the stuffs regarding what i will eat and all of my needs.
So many things that God has done to me, as an example when i was in highschool when i didn't have the money to buy any of the books, my mom prayed and outta nowhere there's a Teacher called me and gave me almost all the books that i needed, i know its God's work. Another example is when i have no food to eat about a few weeks ago(i'm in the Uni now), and once again i saw how God worked, He gave me food through my friend, even today He gave me food(I prayed the Prayer that Jesus taught all of us in the afternoon) when i don't have enough money to buy food. God will never give his Son or Daughter stones to eat, instead He will give us bread, and from now on i know that i have no worries about what i should eat for tomorrow and what i should wear. Our God, Jesus Christ Bless you all.

Thanks so much for these videos! I've learned so much from your biblical discussions concerning relationships on this channel! Right now, Im a protestant at the Catholic University of America and its been a very eye opening experience after stumbling and finding my way back to absolute truth. Even though I might have thought that the person who I almost dated was the one, God revealed to me that she was only interested in herself and pleasures rather than a relationship with Christ. Like you said before, "God won't bless you with idols," Ive learned to be content with Christ alone and to have complete faith in his will. May God bless you!

That was a brilliant revelation of the checklist we can regularly make throughout our journey on earth in relationships as a single or with someone as much as with family and the church. Our hearts true nature is revealed and humility has to be adhered too. "Jesus made himself of no reputation, humbling himself, taking up the place of a servant , being obedient, even to death on the cross." Basically we need to learn to do this. This is a life-tool we all need to have with us. Thank you Mark for sharing this with us.

Truer words have never been spoken. 32 years later every single one of these traits came to the surface. To use the word blindsided would and could not describe what came to light. "Seek ye first the kingdom of God" there is a safe place when this happens and developing an intimate relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is and was the only answer. When I should have been devastated by what happened, God gave me a peace that surpassed all understanding. Thank you Jesus for pouring out the multitude of your mercy on me. My life for you. I still pray for her and always will but putting him first was the best thing I could have ever done. Thank you Jesus. This is one of the best videos I have ever seen. May God bless all who have experienced this and may he pour out his mercy on the offenders. I forgive. In Jesus name with Thanksgiving and praise I pray, Amen🙌

I'm not walking or living the faith I was taught my whole young life. I can clearly see that those who love and follow Christ have more peace, love, and purpose than those who don't. I have almost every negative trait or some version of it in my thoughts and in my heart. I have enough discipline to not act on the worst of these and detest violence but as a Christian, I wouldn't want to spend time with or even get to know me. I need a Christian therapist with a military background or experience before I can even consider trying to find a church. Maybe some baby steps, like a scheduled bible study over Zoom. Do they have something like that?

Forgiveness is important, but are there some things or words that are just unforgivable in a relationship, and you must not forgive but cut ties with this person forever? I learned that telling your wife or fiancee not to be disrespectful falls under the catergory of unforgivable.

So i recently broke up with someone that was said God said he was the one. But he was on fire for Jesus when he first got delivered & re committed his life back to Jesus but he started to get cold when it came to the lord & i'm growing in God as he calls me to him & i'm seeking first the kingdom of God & his righteousness & i don't want to be unequally yoked i know it when i see it after a good bit of relationships & living the person living for the world. My spirit couldn't deal with as a gf. And then he wasn't to sure about what he wanted for a future after a while. So i'm really disappointed i thought he was the one so to speak so i took it hard but i'm healing but i'm not interested & he got a 2nd chance & still failure that is what hurts the most. But i'm at peace.

Is it possible to fall out of love with someone? I was in a ‘relationship’(we never truly dated. We tried twice but they only lasted like a week) but it was only this long because I stuck around when nobody else would. Ive been hurt multiple times, they have said sorry for hurting me, and now they said they’re not going to give up in me even though I feel nothing romantic towards them anymore. They’re a nice person but my heart isn’t there.
