This is the most beautiful lecture you have uploaded to date. The ending made me want to cry when you said who cares if you do something that is soul enriching and thought invigorating that other people deem as nothing. Mr. Medeiros, I love you from the deepest part of my heart.
Off topic but just the other day Hans Georg Müller released a video with a critique of Zizek's latest book. Needless to say, would be curious to hear you thoughts on it.
Great set-up for this lecture with the puzzle on the table.😀 I used to like doing puzzles as a child and have rediscovered it as I'm approaching old age. For most people puzzling is the most useless activity in the world. But they don't know that it is actually a very relaxing meditation practice. And isn't a rainy day a universal licence for staying home and doing nothing?
My life's mission is the exploration of the interaction of speaking and listening, how to speak and how to listen, transducing acoustic energy to electric energy and back again . . . how may I assist You removing the distractions in the signal present in this video, that distract from Your Content and Your Self?
of course doing nothing is amazing..we need to relax and re-charge our energy. In nature, humans would never work, except hunt and then relax. Most of the stuff we do in modern times doesnt have any actual meaning and we do it to fill out our time.
Ultimamente o não fazer nada me apareceu em duas sugestões relativas a sair do jogo atual: a) procurar sua turma, e b) como o Zizek traz estampado na sua camiseta: "I prefer not to..."

I just finished reading ‘The Young Hegelians and Karl Marx’ by McLellan, and am now reading Adoratsky’s ‘Dialectical Materialism’.

You should certainly consider to make some more videos on art theory! It would be highly appreciated!
There's a typo in the link in the bio! Says jukian instead of julian.
On a side note, any thoughts on Murakami's novels? Will they stand the test of time and become a classic of our age?
Hoje, resistir ao um tempo tornando-se um clássico soa um pouco esquisito...
