Nice playthrough. Always a pleasure to watch you two. A small tactical hint, about an often forgotten action you can take: At 33:44 you spend 2 action points (for 2 climb actions) to move diagonally down to that yellow spot. You could have reached that spot by doing the Glide action, for 1 action point. I've made that same mistake many times, using only climb actions while glide actions are way more efficient (when going down of course 🙂)
Perfect timing. I got an email this morning about the second printing campaign launching next Tuesday and your detailed video helped me confirm that I will definitely be backing! Edit: Just realized your video was mentioned in that same email. Congrats!
I noticed this as well. They also forgot to do the "and next" action from the enraged card during round 3. They also refreshed her gadget one too many times in round 2.2. That said, still get a good idea of how the game plays. Happens a lot in games where there's lots of stages / cards going on.
Thanks for the playthrough! It was fun to see the cooperation in 2p game. I like all the interaction and planning between players, as well as the strategy overall to succeed. Looking forward to the KS campaign!
Great video, made me instantly want this game. :) The third Greek letter for the relics is a delta, not a gamma (for some reason, made more sense as a gamma). I also believe you forgot you could activate the relics powers during the playthrough? :)
Only just got round to watching this video, and this game looks so fun. Reminds me of Shadows of the Colossus! Ended up missing the main pledge campaign, but it looks like late pledge starts soon so I’ll check that out. Great video as always! 👏
TIL you can avoid drawing the last card of your deck. I have played about a dozen games of this and somehow missed that until now - that would have been useful to know a few times lol 😂. I've really enjoyed this game since I got it, and I'm hyped to watch you play through a game (just had to comment here during teach for learning something).
Been waiting for this one to come back to Kickstarter. Looks fun! EDIT: Now that I've watched the whole PT, I'd like to suggest a couple of subtitles for the video: "I have a skill card for that." and "It is what it is." 😂 QUESTION: This was a level 2 (in difficulty) leviathan. Does anyone know how many levels of difficulty there are?
The rating for three Leviathans technically isn't difficulty but complexity, now higher complexity *tends* to increase difficulty but not necessarily. That being said there are several level 3 complexity Leviathans and a couple level 4. I've played through I think the first 9 Leviathans and they definitely do get trickier as you go through.
@BeforeYouPlay I was able to get a hold of LW a couple months back and it's such a fun puzzle figuring out the best moves and feeling like you're doing flips off the leviathans I played one Tabletop Simulator game of Ironwood and really enjoyed it - very excited to experience the physical version with those premium feeling metal and wood pieces
Both times I played sentinel three player we've lost on normal difficulty. He builds blight so fast it makes it so hard to win. Anyone else had similar experience? 😂
Glad you guys are covering this, one of my favorite KS games I've backed!
Thank you, so glad you've been enjoying it!
whats a KS game? sorry

Enjoyed the playthrough. Thank you.

Oh no way! So glad the video was helpful!
55:45 should still take bligh I believe, you moved one right and one up that was not a safe location from the threat.

I backed this last year and it is a really fun game! Thank you for bringing this indie game to more people. Highly, highly recommended this game.
That is a very interesting one. Thanks for showing me!🙂Looks like something for me.
Thanks for watching! Each Leviathan (17) provides a different twist/challenge too.

At 55:45, aren't you still in range of the threat attack?
Ahh! I think you are right, the top right corner! Thanks for the heads up (with timestamp), we'll add a Klingon subtitle.

Ive only gotten to play this twice since the KS arrived (once solo, once 2P), but I think it is a keeper. Thanks for the playthrough!

Loving the emoji usage!
I can't believe I missed the Kickstarter 😢 Well, hopefully it will hit the shelves quickly after the games have been sent to backers.

This and Ironwood are my two most hyped games! I feel like I account for half your views on the Ironwood video 😂😅
HAHA! Thank you so much, we hope you'll have a blast with both!

Looks like 2nd, from Madrid, Spain😂👌🇪🇸
Greetings!!

Is it a good strategy to try to go to the top first? Then you can more affordably glide and fall to remaining crystals?
#Bloom
isnt this just shadow of the colossus - the board game?
Yes, designers mentioned they were inspired by Shadow of the Colossus.
Good to know!

Biggest recommendation is to remember to use your skills to boost your overall efficiency; it makes a huge difference!
Title sounds like a metal band. Which is a far cry from the look of the game.
Haha it does!
🙂👍
