Century up Colin! I've been here for the journey. Excellent channel and great quality drone work. Thanks for the time and effort you put in to keep us informed.
Colin, just caught up after being away for a few days. A good video with plenty of points covered. 1) Those definitely are the Solar Array fixings. You could see work started on that, towards the latter part of last week. The patternation actually shows up quite well and in line with the planned area because the white fixings lighten the colour of the roof between the eastern end, where the green bucket sits (in this video seen from 11:20 mins onwards), which is roughly in line with the North-South outer edge of the Polycarbonate-Standing-seam roof layer intersection of the East Stand across to the western end, also in line with the North-South Polycarbonate to Standing Seam roof intersections. there is a broad gap down the central area of the South Stand as there will yet be a walkway to be added there and personnel safety fixings. 2) The Gate Tower with the blue mesh around the scaffolding has definitely had the dome roof re-pointed with the original appearance of black-ash mortar. Although it's merely specified in the Repair Materials as Limetec Mortar, I reckon it's effectively had colouring added to reproduce the black-ash mortar appearance. Although bitumen is to be used to provide re-water-proofing of each roof, that is supposed only to be a 3 mm layer across the roof before the stones and mortar are then reapplied.
The clips you can see are for the walkways that go in-between the solar panels. The darker lines you can see either side of the clips are for the panels
The empty section behind the home dugout is the 'Tunnel Club' seating with steps either side to access - the seats behind the tunnel club will not have access - see vormers blocking path, which will be 'All' members. The empty space at the back of 'All' beneath the directors box/area is for these 'business class seats/hubs' to be fitted with screens - will be an impressive finish. Can't wait for first game - COYB!
Correct 👍🏻 and the ‘Tunnel Club’ fans will be able to see the players as they wait for the siren and Z Cars (but the players won’t be able to see them).
Hi Colin. Love the video. Great job. Do u know if in the west stand mezzanine they have done away with the 3 sky gaze features either end of it. There looked like some sort of glass features on the promo videos and stills I've seen I'm the past. But with the paving stones being laid this feature seems to have been dropped. Maybe a cost cutting measure??
Great Video CP! The place is a Hive of Activity. I want to pick out two questions: 1) Who will be responsible for the edge of the river beyond the ground perimeter? 2) The new water feature on the West: Will this be connected to the other docks and have a through flow? My worry is it if it isn't there will be a horrible stagnant pond. Given the problems earlier in the year with Algal Growth on the Terraces this could be a horrific situation here...
Hi Colin, what is the white material they have put in the trench they have dug for the water Chanel? Second question is that do the polycarbonate fitters really work with no ropes or netting? Seems incredible to me
Will there be any access to the North and West Stands from the road between the North stand and the water treatment works (Loverose Way) or will fans have to access all stands through the wall on Regent Road?
The road you’re referring to is owned by United Utilities. The current temporary north boundary fence will be moved further south and the team bus will drive along the north access road under the north stand concourse. Home fans will access the west stand via ‘Everton Way’ below the south stand, and then under the west plaza terrace. Away fans will access their turnstiles via the main east fan plaza.
Extra detail to the valid answers already given: Away fans will be 'encouraged to use the 2 northernmost Regent Road entries as being the nearest portals to their NNE stadium admission portal (that includes the vehicular entrance between the Tower Gate, as there will be very little vehicular movement 2 hrs either side of the match and NO vehicular movements 1 hr either side of the match). Home fans will not need to go to or along the north stadium overhang an will be dissuaded from doing so even if they thought they'd try it on. Basically there will be next to no personnel movements along the north side. Home fans' entry to the North Stand is from either the ENE portals or the WNW portals, and those going to the latter would go along the south and west sides.
Blue Peter: Dunc has informed you correctly about the Main TV Camera location. There are no TV "Gantries", only 7 plinths, broadly-speaking located just below or just above the 2 tier splits in the middle of the West, South and East Stands and then the 4 corners. If you need more precise details than this 'broad' perspective, then let me know.
Bit smelly down there today not stinky but more a stagnant water smell. Wouldn't be hanging around the northern part of the plaza with that there that's for sure.
Yeah, not great having the largest sewage works in the city next to our stadium, but at least UU have roofs and the smell could work in the club’s favour with fans escaping the stink by entering the stadium and spending more £££
Well done on your 100th video, glad to of seen them all.

Great coverage Colin, 100th video wow congratulations, where does the time go!
Amazing as always CP
Congratulations on your 100th Video, looking forward to the next 100 👍🏻🤞🏻👍🏻
Great video work, you blow mister drone out of the water.
Another great video thank you 👍
Great work Colin enjoy your videos of stadium.
Thanks 👍

Thanks Colin.I think the front seats will have to look through the top rail of the barriers, so maybe think about that when buying your season tickets
Pure nonsense mate what don't you understand about the saying no obstructed views.
Take a closer look, what you think is a top rail is a temporary scaffolding tube top edge of glass below eye level.
Every seat has an unobstructed view.

It certainly looks like it, there is no practical reason they would cut them in afterwards.
They weren’t skylights in the final approved plans from August 2020, they were large stone blocks for fans to sit and admire the view.
I would leave those towers the way they are right now as much as possible. Gives the site more character. Heritage. 200 years of nature
That many solar panels would be fogging impressive

Yes it’s flowing through under the 2 bridges
@@cp-overview That's good to know, Thanks CP!
@@mikeoglen6848 1) Peel 2) The water channel will connect Sandon Dock and Nelson Dock
The channel will be closed under the bridge at its southern end but open at its northern end.
@@JayEFC1969 So how will there be flow between the 2 docks?

There is safety netting underneath, it doesn’t really show up but I can assure you it is there
You can see the safety netting in the video the club posted earlier today 👍🏻

Where are the TV camera gantries?
The main TV camera will be in the middle of the west stand. You can see the concrete platform just above the executive boxes in the upper tier.
