There are 2 ways : 1. Estimate CdA value by taking a reference from similar vehicles 2. Run a CFD test in CAD using the 3D model of your vehicle. You will be able to extract CdA value from that. Next, when viewing the vehicle from front view, trace the outer edges of all visible components. Anything that is hidden will not be considered. Make a planar surface of that sketch, and use CAD to find out the area of the plane. That will give you frontal area. So now you have CdA value from CFD and A from CAD. You can solve for Cd from that.
Hello sir, How could i contact you? I want to learn how to calculate power required to run a vehicle. I have calculated following things but there are some doubts. Total Tractive Effort by Rolling resistance force, aerodynamic force, Grade resistance force, acceleration force
this is a wonderful video. thank you.
Hi sir , can you help me in dual speed transmission model for electric vehicle in matlab
Sir can I ask how you calculate the drag force of a car ? how did u get the drag coefficient and cross sectional area of the car ?

sir how to calculate the forces pls tell about that forces
The work is not a power (W), it is an energy like the kinetic energy in Joule or kWh
Work done per unit time is called power 🥲
