I was just in Lafayette and I absolutely loved the way the homes looked French. But it was way too spread out for me, and too far from New Orleans. Does Metairie look romantic, lovely and French like that??? Also, I am French and Catholic light, and the people in Lafayette truly seemed nicer than anywhere I have ever been! Not enough jobs in Lafayette, mostly medical and environment etc... It seems like there are a good amount of Californians connections and people around New Orleans? I want to be able to take Amtrak back to my WLA homeland with lots of luggage, Amtrak goes through Lafayette. I suppose Metairie is close enough to the train station. BTW: when you live in WLA, I at least, stayed in my westside community most of the time, and rairly drove across town. But I will never forget the one week before Christmas when it took two and a half hours to get over the Muhlholland pass on the 405. That's 10 miles, over a mountain.

Neither one are affordable. What happened to no more than 33% of income going to housing?
Affordable is relative.
It is absolutely ridiculous that real estate agents are not supposed to mention crime rights in various cities!!
Only in Louisiana

Your very video would feel less biased if you didn’t input your personal experience-especially since you’ve only lived on the north shore 😅
Nobody in New Orleans would ever call living in Metairie "city life"
people from the country would!
