    Lovely video and some cool finds! More than ever I look forward to getting my hands on one!
    Nice to see that even in such hard packed earth it still does the job you'd expect at this end of the market

      Can't knock the spade combo,last one I tried the pick bent within 2 holes.Machine is easy and light weight so great for a 'newbie' lol

    I really enjoyed your video. I bought one of these as a beginner a couple of weeks ago and will be using it soon. Your use of the pointer was great as I now know what I need to do. Subscribed 👍👍

    Great video Chris ! That thimble and farthing are fantastic finds, i would be happy with those finds with my nox 800. For a beginners machine, it really does do the job well.

      Indeed, impressed with the pick/spade as the ground was Rock hard.Do they do a spade or are they developing one?sure I saw something unless I've got crossed wires?

      @@Hadesdetecting yes there is one in the pipeline, its on the testing and design phase, so cant say to much about it in open chat

    I got this detector last week as I’m new to detecting and didn’t want to spend a lot, been exploring beamish woods as I’m a 10 minute walk from one of the many entrances. Haven’t found anything exciting just yet but having fun using this machine

    • @Hadesdetecting
      @Hadesdetecting  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not a bad little machine, remember all woodland is owned (as lot by woodland trust)and although a right of way is public detecting is always permission based.Good luck with the MTXE

    • @IShouldClipThat
      @IShouldClipThat ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Hadesdetecting so who should I be asking to detect in beamish woods, woodland trust?

    • @Hadesdetecting
      @Hadesdetecting  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If they own the woods yes, but it may be owned by someone else.Land registerty would tell you or ask locally,in the UK consider all land owned by someone (even parks and public places)and permission would need to be granted.Its annoying I know but to enjoy the hobby without any come backs best to have an ask about.

    • @IShouldClipThat
      @IShouldClipThat ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Hadesdetecting done a bit of Googling and seems to be public I have been people over the years detecting down there when I have been walking the dog but I will definitely ask around. I know I couldn’t just turn up to someone’s field and start digging but i never knew about woods thanks for the heads up

    • @Hadesdetecting
      @Hadesdetecting  ปีที่แล้ว

      No problems,some councils let you do their parks and open spaces ( mine doesn't) definitely worth finding out.I ask everyone and anyone as even the smallest bit of land can yield unexpected stuff.

    Went out with one of these yesterday, on a beach, got high readings and bleeps almost everywhere, some high numbers, but found nothing! Total beginner, but it would have helped if you had the earphones off so we can hear the signals for comparison…really frustrating day….will give it another go

      Need a more high end detector that can handle sand, minelab, Garrett etc

    Great hunt, a capable little machine, have you done a beach Hunt yet?

    • @Hadesdetecting
      @Hadesdetecting  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have,just need to edit it(did it last week).The finds from the beach you'd be happy with using any machine,bigger coil would be awesome and as a bonus it genuinely does disc out bottle tops ...didnt get any.Flip side to that is iron core clad is also ignored.I'll jump on that video next

    Just followed Mel's link from Waffle on a Wednesday, as my neighbour pans for gold, was wondering if your set-up would work on alluvial gold detection :)

    • @Hadesdetecting
      @Hadesdetecting  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      To be honest not sure,but as it's fine gold 'dust' if I'm getting this right probably not.The machine would pick up small nuggets,there are machines that are used more for prospecting but they tend to be a bit more specialist like the Minelab gold monster series but these come with a healthy price tag.
