I understand- I’ve been doing hospice dog rescue for years and it’s so hard knowing they are sick. Isaac is very lucky to have you by his side, many people can’t handle it and abandon their pets. It speaks volumes how strong this is hitting you, you two must have an amazing bond ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for the dog rescue work you do. It must be very challenging. I know many people have very strong bonds with their animals. Since Isaac is a service dog, he and I have spent nearly every minute of nearly every day together for the last 8 years. The only nights we spent apart were a couple of nights when I had surgery last year and one night a few years ago when he had pancreatitis and had to be hospitalized overnight. But we are nearly always together and I'm not sure I recognize myself without him. It truly feels like he is a part of me.
