- Had to put synthwave on, couldn't handle the OST anymore. What a fucking fight, I personally think its hilarious that this is the way I beat the final boss of a fromsoft dlc, I also think the fight is way overtuned + it's boring to fight Radahn again even with a different moveset.
This fight had amazing rng, good and bad attempts can differ vastly based on what kind of rng you get, it's super inconsistent. Can't wait for no hit runners to figure this one out. All in all I'm glad it's over and that I still managed to beat him without having to rely on massive cheese or summons, tho it doesn't feel as satisfying as I still have no clue how to dodge certain attacks consistenly.
I rate the dlc 7.5/10 for bosses [The best ones being Messmer, Bayle and Rellana] and 10/10 for exploration. - เกม

Nah, this is Miyazaki getting tired of all the Comet Azur and bleed builds and telling us "Aight then, cheese this."

Started a parry build for this fight jsut to get better and this vid helped a lot showing what’s parriable and what’s not so far I’ve done everything u have just trouble dodging 2 of his attacks

I have the trouble when he does that cross arm slash attack. I can’t parry it and it hits me every single time.

not sure, think because I got a partial parry on the first slash I wasnt stunned and could roll in time for the rest of the combo

think the boss is way too overtuned even for a dlc's final boss
i still think that gael/ludwig stay on top as the best dlc bosses, making the final boss radahn was cool but doesn't make sense and some attacks are just unbalanced
Honestly there's still a lot of mistakes during this kill, someone already did it no hit! Personally, I don't really enjoy this fight so I'm fine with just tanking his two massive AoEs in p2 for now, lol. Also agree on gael and ludwig still being peak dlc bosses!

Hey just curious what was your whole build?
The weapon is the Miséricorde. The reason is it's high crit stat. From what I'm seeing the talismans are: Dagger Talisman, Marika's soreseal (idk why he's using this one), Arsenal charm (there's a better version of it). I can't tell what the other might be from this video but I'd use the blade of mercy on this build.

SL125
65 VIG
10 MND
38 END
59 STR
22 DEX
10 INT
10 FTH
10 ARC
Talismans: Crimson Amber +3, Dagger Talisman, Erdtrees Favor +2, Marikas Soreseal
Buckler and 2 Misericordes +25 first one bleed infused to get 2 bleeds then swap to fire for extra crit damage.
The reason why I'm using soreseal is... well tbh I have no clue anymore. I guess because I'm 125? I used to be a pvp tryhard in ds3 so I respecced this build very early on into what we thought was an optimized str build but I quickly found out I dislike ER pvp and never came back to it. Since then I just kept this build around and just for this fight adjusted it slightly to deal more damage, this is no way optimized for this fight so feel free to improve it. I'm horrible at ER theorycrafting, I usually just try to make what I have work :D

@@bloodybackfat Btw in dlc you can get talisman called "Blade of Mercy" It raises attack power by 20% when you crit attack INCLUDING the crit attack. I combined it with dagger talisman and used blood misericorde, if you want you can check my Radahn fight video. Great job man! Finishing DLC before nerfs is a must have xD
@@bloodybackfati saw a youtube video saying executioner greataxe has the highest crit dmg when taking into account scaling etc and i can attest. Also, maybe can use golden parry or carian retaliation for better parry window. Assassin's crimson dagger can help small healing when needed. Just some suggestions from my experience attempting a ng+2 parry only malenia (it didn't go well)

good job, now the real challenge of this is ng+7 no hit
I'm on NG+5 and start to think I can't beat him. First phase is ok, but in second phase that flash moveset of him is hard af to dodge clean. Anyway in phase 1, I dont know how to dodge Triple Sword Swing, dodge once swing and still be hit by second swing 😬

The second phase of this fight is just to much, i love all fromsoftware games but thsi fight is just to much its a shame that this is where we are at now with souls games everything is jusy artificial difficulty aeo bullshit everywhere
More artificial than difficult. Just use the blessings and a slightly decent armor.

I cheese this boss by using bleeding arm and it make Radahn fight become joke.
I don't think it's bad to make Radahn this hard it's actually accurate to lore but I agreed that they overturned it in phase2
I'm glad if boss in DLC give you more time to breath they are so aggressive
but bleeding arm still broke all of that boss and I'm think they will nerf this weapon for sure
