The addon is working with the new quick fix for v. 2.93 and i can also connect with the qr code, but when i press the camera icon, the error message "Cannot stream the camera !" appears. Edit: Now it works. Make sure to deactivate your firewall.
I think this is a potential low-budget alternative to using Vive Trackers (or the Vive Mars) for virtual production. "Just" mount your phone on top of your camera, calculate and enter the offset between phone and camera and you should in theory be good to go.

Industrial Light and Magic created a rig where a real life camera operator could use physical cameras to control the camera in the film. That's exactly why I looked for something like this for blender. I have no animation experience and frankly don't have the patience to learn. But I know that it's possible to use a free AI tool to basically create motion capture from video footage. So now imagine basically reenacting what you wanted to animate, and now you can virtually control the camera with your phone, and throw in some of those amazing AI voices from eleven labs for good measure, and you've got the easiest rig for setting up awesome fan works or even some original stuff. Obviously, real animation is going to be a lot better, and it's never going to be perfect if you just animate only using the motion capture, but still, it's got my Genshin Impact obsessed gears spinning.

it is a cool concept but it does not work for me, like with installing it to all blenders versions. also, It does not stream the character that has animations and rigs it shows up as a pile of messed up faces or crashes and lastly, it tries to show all the meshes in a scene and crashes the phone app, which bad even though I made sure one of two things are visible.

It's a little buggy app
i did all the steps but on my phone it keeps saying "cannot request scene update" and the logo thats meant to be green is red

How do you do this without moving the cameras location? Just wanting the shaking but not the xyz movement
you just delete the location key frame of the camera in the graph editor so you will have only the rotation data
