Welcome back to another pen video! Today we are taking a look at the Kakimori brass nib dip pen! After a few mishaps with my glass dip pen I decided to invest in this beautiful piece! I had so much fun strolling around the Kakimori store when I was in Japan! I found some great items to bring home! I'll be unboxing them with you today and texting out my new nib! I hope you enjoy it!
I am happy for your Japan Trip. I watched your Itoya shopping haul, when your husband had visited Japan. I shared it with my husband who went to Japan few weeks back and it helped us buy our Fountain pens. It’s great to see Japanese Stationery through someone who loves them!
Can't wait for more videos. I love being able to "see" Japan through a fellow pen and stationery lover. That would be my dream trip. Have fun at the pen show too.
Welcome back! I love my Kakimori nib and holder! It is perfect for swatching inks and especially enjoyable swatching the inks from the 2022 Inkvent calendar. Enjoy your time at the pen show!
Hi! Do you have another recommendation for a nib holder? The length of almost all nib holders throws off my writing. I am looking for a holder much shorter in length.

I definitely look forward to the Travelers’ haul - thank you for sharing that absolutely beautiful store! I hope I can fit that in to my January visit.
Lovely haul! I would encourage you to get an ink miser to avoid dipping wood into ink…also the stainless steel nib is great for writing sessions. Can’t wait to see the rest of your Japanese stationery acquisitions! TYFS❣️✨

Have had the Kakimori Brass for quite some time, but find that I use the Pilot Iro-utsushi more since it can be cleaned off much easier. I wish that there was some kind of cover for the Brass, too, as Pilot has for the Iro-utsushi. Fun video. The stores look amazing. Easy to lose your mind! Thanks for sharing.
I love pretty stationery, notebooks, pens etc. just your regular office stuff. But although I don't journal or do planners, I think I'd buy everything in that store just because it looks so beautiful, and the quality comes through the screen. Glad you had a great time in Tokyo Lori! Welcome back.
Hi Michael! It was so great to meet you and Angela (I hope I remembered your wife's name). Thank you so much for saying hello! That was such a fun show! My first of many! I hope you had a great time!
Hi Lorie! Thank you for showing all your goodies from Japan. So excited for you to go to your first pen show! I have not been to one yet. Hope you get to go to the Epcot and taste the food and wine festival yummies. Now I really want to get a Travelers Notebook but they sell out here so fast always…have a safe trip! Hope you find some wonderful new pens! Be on the look out for Vintage pens too some of the vendors do almost the whole pen show circuit. Take care!
Thanks for watching Arlene! The pen show was so much fun! There are still lots of travelers stuff available. I have a couple plan covers and I love them. I just hunted down all of the limited stuff in Japan...because, ya know! lol!

Isn’t it “lazy brown dog”? 😊
2:34 Ypu didn’t even click on your own pun there 😜
Buy all the things, make a plan later. 😅
I love the way you think!! 😂
would recommend you to try the torori ink next time! 🥹 it’s amazing with the brass nib (or as a color in general)
Thank you Elizabeth!
