Say what you will about 5, but 5 was best gameplay of all the metal gear games. It was a nice blend of Peace Walker and 4 which made it so fun to play. Of course the story is bad but I find myself replaying 5 because it's fun to do stuff in it than every other metal gear.
The problem I had with MGS5 was the open world, it's just too much hustle between boring outposts and empty corridors (Afghan) or fields (Africa) Proper enemy bases were so much fun, because of good gameplay mechanics and level layouts, but it's just not enough to make me replay that game again I find myself replaying Ground Zeroes more, lol MGS3 with slower MGS5 gameplay sounds amazing

They said something along the lines this: "When you turn off GTA5, it feels like the open world is still going with or without you. I personally say the more unorthodox content of Peace Walker (the Monster Hunter fights, the date missions, the Cocoon fight, the Pooyan missions, etc) combined with the 2-4 player co-op make Peace Walker the more fun experience. Braking out of prison in co-op as well as fighting the final boss and fighting all the super bosses were always highlights for my friends and I. I respect your opinion, though, and I willing to acknowledge that MGSV has both the best controls as well as the best accessibility out of all the games! I hope to someday see Peace Walker and Portable Ops both come to modern consoles (as well as PO+) so that some of the best fights in the series have a chance to shine once more! Gene is still one of my favorite villains in the franchise and has one of my favorite themes, lol.

Snake having more capablities doesn't necessarily mean it will be any faster paced of a game. If anything, it very well also means the enemies could be a lot more capable, able to plan/react/coordinate better and pick up on things better than they were able to before. There's all of that, plus you have to consider how the survival elements will control the pace of the game, assuming they're bringing those back and maybe even building on them. If anything, this has potential to be more tactically involved than the initial version, Subsistence, and even MGS3D.

I like the idea, but the way MGS3 is laid out I worry about the effects the updated aiming, controls, and movement will cause for the gameplay itself. MGS1 was a great game, why not remake it with the same engine they used for MGS2? So they did. Then the game was.. Significantly easier. You had a first person now and the means to shoot guards from far lengths across the room, which worked for MGS2 since there was a lot of environment to break up and complicate your shots. I don't think the changes will be as drastic as MGS1 compared to MGS2, but we'll see.

TPP and GZ were both built on the Fox Engine, which they retired around 2019 I think or something like that. Delta is made with Unreal Engine 5, but they probably recycled some of the motion capture from MGSV cus its cheaper.

Its a Shame! MgsV could run perfectly with entry level Gpus like gtx750 ,gt1030 etc without even initializing 1gb of vram, Now with UE5 everyones gonna need an RTX to have a decent experience with almost the same result as 10 years ago :/ Budget pc gaming is officialy dead!
The V duology had some really solid gameplay, I do not mind having that smoothness put into the greatest game of all time. Here's hopin' this game will have little touches of its own, because Snake Eater was just such a special game...

I really just want the world to be bigger in delta than the original. It was awesome then but the story is very linear compared to modern games. The foliage, movement, etc. looks great but will that be enough to regain my appreciation for the game. I know it by heart basically…please give me something new
