I'm glad you liked it! We wanted it to be more than just an exciting video. Glad it was informative. Heads Up: We have some G2's on their way in as well.
Played with a lot of termite in my misspent childhood. I’d have to say the match is a mixture of phosphorus and magnesium powder regardless this is fucking cool
Is this not a mixture of iron oxide and aluminum with a binder? It just looks like something that could be made in your backyard for under a dollar per stick. Both those ingredients can be bought cheap online.
Not exactly, you’re on the right track, however forming this into a rod that has a controlled burn rate isn’t quite so easy and requires a few processes and materials. Sure you can mix some powers together in the back yard and get it too burn, but to do so in a controlled manner is a whole other ballgame. A pile will flash-pot which doesn’t help cut metal. I can pile up a bunch of stuff on top of a piece of metal but it won’t cut the metal. Pressure needs to be applied and it needs to be hot enough, but not too hot or it will burn too fast and you won’t have the time needed. Challenge: in the next 30 days, if make a TH-cam video where you create a self-contained alternative that will cut through a logging chain, I will send you one of the Breachpen, breaching kits for free.
Nope they’re breachpens doing but I have loved these products from the early days of their production and I’m excited to see the new stuff they’re releasing.
Haha very cool! They really are amazing products. Cutting tools are superior, but who Carrie’s a bolt cutter around on their plate carrier?! I always have a couple around.
I'll put it on the list of stuff to try to film in the future. I also have a few other TH-camrs who are going to make some review videos on them too so I'll let them know this is something to try to cut. I think the hard part with the hinge is the slag. As you cut, gravity pulls the slag down and then you've got to cut through any slag in the way. It think it's doable with the G2 model, maybe a little short on run time on the LTE.
Only once. Single use. They are pricey, but they’re also not intended to be used regularly. They are to put into a kit or on your carrier so you have a cutting tool in an emergency. I still carry bolt cutters and a grinder in my truck. But if I had to book it on foot, I have a couple for my carrier.
Lol, Did that hurt your feelings? TH-cam's algorithm has a new variable this year which is driven by commenting and user interaction... so go complain to them. I spent close to 20 hours working on this video, haven't made a single penny on it, have only maybe made 3 sales related to the video. PCC is a business. How would you like to work for $0/hour? And then on top of that, have people like you stroll in here, watch it for free and get upset that I asked you to subscribe, comment and share. Rude is an understatement Comrade.
That's true, but after nearly 400 videos, thousands of hours of work I'm at the point where I almost have to give up because I can't get enough people to subscribe or follow and unless everyone clicks that button I'll never break out of the shadow ban I'm in. I haven't had a monetized video in over a year and most of the time my videos will get a couple hundred views max. This video was just a bit more popular. I appreciate you being here, big time.
Not sure where you went to college for cinematography, but I had to learn it on my own with no help, no guidance, no training and my only feedback being people like you. And the only way to do that is trial and error. Not to mention the background noise was much worse than enhancing the voice and overlaying music. Please share a link to your channel so I can find out how the pros do this thing.
I hear you. It’s definitely something more geared toward a department purchase or something. I definitely see it like you do, very cool product but it is tough to justify the cost for many people. I do have some new products coming in that have a couple training models, fire suppression, a carrier and then one of their longer burning Gen2s for a bundle price. Still not cheap, but a little more reasonable. Keep your eyes peeled. I should be putting out a new video soon on them!
It may work, trouble would be getting that many sparkles together in a way that would hold them all together the entire time you're burning. Sounds like a fun challenge for 4th of July!
Using a sparkler once lit and finish, the metal is still there after the fire is out or when the sparkle is finished. This thing here makes the metal disappear with the heat its generating, amazing, and much respect to its thermal ability.
Lol, we had a lot of guys and limited masks and goggles. However you can’t get welders flash from but it does make it easier to see clearly if you’re wearing a welders mask.
I'm sure there will be a few of those! Hence the certification training which really was more about the safety aspects then how to use the pen, that parts simple. Being safe is the real focus!
No joke, serious kits man. We sell hundreds of these at the price point. LE, Mil, Search and Rescue, etc would be the most likely people who would spend the money they cost to have them onboard.

Are these water resistant?
This is a great video for those of us getting ready to purchase the pen. Thanks!

Haha. Yeah I agree. Shoot me an email and I'll send you a match. I don't have many of them but I"ll send you one to check out. :)
@@PrescottCaliberClub I’ll gladly pay for one. I will send you a message when I am back on my pc

Great question BTW.
Much better than lugging a plasma cutter around or cutting torch around, I’d say. 75 bucks seems right to me, considering the possibilities!
Agree. It's definitely a niche item but something that if you need it and have it, could make all the difference.
That's a really cool item
Agree! not super cheap but once you know how to use them, carrying one with you would be a nice piece of kit to have.
That 2 pen bundle has to be the cleverest thing I’ve ever seen, you guys put those together yourself?
Nope they’re breachpens doing but I have loved these products from the early days of their production and I’m excited to see the new stuff they’re releasing.
Do they sell to civilians? Or are these only for special individuals?
Yes they do, they’re not the cheapest thing to buy but we do have them on our website!
@@PrescottCaliberClub ok cool. Thanks for the awesome video too. Might get one of these for my door hinge mosin as "plasma" bayonet lol.
Haha very cool! They really are amazing products. Cutting tools are superior, but who Carrie’s a bolt cutter around on their plate carrier?! I always have a couple around.
Very cool I want a kit. 👍🏽🙂
Hell yeah! I want to get one of those breacher kits with the fire suppression as well. Those looked BADASS!
Good job.
That falls into the “freakin cool” category 👍
Right? Once you get the hang of them they’re wildly great tools.
I want it for demolishing structures but don’t burn long enuff for more than a lock or chain. The cost isn’t justifiable. It is a great tool though.
Yeah, it's definitely a niche product and certainly not meant for daily jobs. Thanks for watching and for the feedback. :)
nothing is stopping you from developing your own, it's basically just a storm match and thermite in a cardboard tube
Love this!!!
Thanks! Me too.
Sir, is that EMT or Rigid pipe?
I believe he cut some EMT after cutting the chain.
Ok. Thanks.
I want to see if they cut door hinges

Telling people to like and subscribe is like telling people to leave a message after the tone...we all get the concept already.

Thats pretty awesome but the price for 25 seconds of burn time isn't 👎

I heard if you tie a bunch if "sparkler" fireworks together it does the same thing...... allegedly... 🤯

Fireworks sparklers, but for adults.

can you get welders flash?
“no”
30 seconds later wearing a welders mask in the video

I wonder how many idiots will buy this and burn themselves Ryan? Great tool for specific jobs

He'll have fun, fun, fun, 'til his momma takes his Breach Pen away
haha.
Imagine using this on home invaders
lol, yeah a buddy of mine made the comment in the video about how to stop a car... funny but it would be wild.
Impeach Biden
Who asked bruh
I could see buying a few of these to experiment with at $10-15 but these are darn near $75 EACH! Is this a joke?
